I chose the EVGA GeFOrce GTX970 3.5GB FTW Card because it's numbers blew my mind. Awesome stock and boosted clock speeds, awesome-ish amount of VRAM, and a great price at the Canada-Computers next door. I vouch for the little extra money that the FTW edition costs because it is simply that awesome.

These things are beasts. Furious beasts that have been tamed for my usage. One is stellar, two is ridiculous. Batman: Arkham City max settings and full PhysX at 60fps ridiculous. I couldn’t be happier.

Amazing video card. I get 60 FPS on most games in 1080p max settings in the living room. Average temperatures at max load is around 74-76 degrees C.

One of the best video cards I ever had I never overclock this thing because it does not need to yet I can play all the newer games on max setting and get like 50-80FPS

I got this on sale for $300 from newegg and it is a very good performer.

Can hear a tiny bit of coil whine, but besides that, always quiet and very powerful for your buck. Plus, free copy of RS:Siege!

I went with this GTX 970 4gb . This is a very nice Graphics Card, and I have experienced no limitations. I can run any games at high levels.

An awesome card! It's really fast and I can always borrow one from my brother and put them in SLI! So it's pretty dope!

Great Card!!! Runs the latest games (I tried Dark Souls 3) on MAX setting 130 FPS, World OF Tanks 130 FPS on Ultra, and doesn't go higher than 73 C in my HOT apartment!

Now now, before the R9 390 Fanboys come to bash me for going with Nvidia, let me explain. My friend had a 970, but was trying to sell it so he could SLI 960's. I bought it off him for practically brand new for ONLY $220, probably the best deal I got out of this whole build.
