This purchase was entirely motivated by price as it was quite cheap at the time. The cooler uses 2x older 3pin NH-P12 fans so I decided to remove these and replace with one Noctua NF-F12 PWM fan. Sold the others on ebay which brought down the cost of the cooler further

from completed build My cheap build :-)

well the size and brand tells pretty much everything. Do not OC a 8700k to 5ghz with this, otherwise it keeps it under 30c on idle, under 60 on load. It has 6 years of warranty, never had a single weird noise from the fans. Quality.

Great cooler for an amazing price. Only complaint is that my motherboard can't control the fan speed, although the low noise headers work well.

it's a beauty. replaced the fans with some noctua industrial 120mm 3000rpm fans.

they are silent below 1000 rpm, but at 3000rpm they are loud...which fans are not loud at 3000rpm ? it's rare that they have to ramp up all the way though.

    Very good cooler and fans.
