I was worried about AMD cards using too much power and overheating, so I wanted to get Nvida card but the GTX 960 was too weak for me and the 970 was too pricey. So I chose the new AMD 300 series for the right price and performance and the lower power usage and temperatures. High quality brand. Supports DirectX 12 so I assume I'll get notable performance boost in the future. It has 4GB which is great for modding Skyrim.

Hot! Hot! Hot! The fans on this card do a great job at dissipating heat from the front of the card. The backplate on the other hand is HOT! If you have a mITX board and want to install this card, DON'T do it! (Unless you liquid cool the CPU/APU.) It sits way too close to the CPU socket and gets my fan roaring like crazy! I'm sure if I added an aftermarket fan it would do the same. Liquid cooling might be the only way to go.

Needed something better without going in the 500$ range. Re-branded Tonga with GCN 1.2 does a fantastic job for the games I play.

Fantastic GPU. Plays all my games on high/ultra settings. I was going to get the 2GB version but I got this one open boxed for the same cost.

THE 960 KILLER This is a great GPU for the price. Recommend it to all who are thinking about getting a 960 because this thing blows it out of the water. Overall it runs most games on High to Ultra overclocked. I was able to get mine to 1125 MHz stable on core and 1590 MHz stable on the memory.

Ah the GPU, what really counts. It's giant, beautiful, quiet, and fast. The backplate is stunning, the fans are efficient, I ran every game so far at ultra 900p over 60fps. GET THIS.

Love this card, but man it can get hot if not cooled properly. Plays whatever I throw at it @1080p, and couldn't ask for more. Default fan curve keeps it dead silent till you use it.

really like the card would recommend it handles most games over 50 on 1080p

Plays most games on Ultra with a select few not reaching 60 fps

DayZ rarely hits solid 60 due to poor optimisation - no fault of the cards.

Love the Graphics Card!!! This is the best choice I've ever made to get this instead of the GTX 960 since the R9 380 has 4gb and performs better on More games the the gtx 960, got my clock up to 1076 before with afterburner stable and I think this is a good Graphics Card overall. Plus i like the feature to cool down the gpu fast with a button on the MSI App!!
