from completed build Gaming PC Junk Build Under $500

i enjoy having this card. the one thing i have noticed is that this card doesn't overclock well even with the two 6-pin pci power connectors. i don't know if i have a bad card or just a bad overclock. for the price that i payed $120ish i guess i get what i payed for. with that said i do plan on getting another R9 270 for crossfire (cheapest solution)

Got for old system Q6600 with P35 MB and 4 gig of DDR2 ram. Bottlenecked it terribly which is obvious but only really showed on Fallout 4. Since upgrading whole system goes fine and with an oc 6600k cpu and 8 gig of ddr4 ram on a z170 mb play high to ultra on fallout 4 & farcry 4 getting 40 to 50 fps which I find alright. Just keeping till new gpu's come out soon otherwise would of upgraded with system but seems a waste to buy now when this is ok and the new gpu's are supposed to be so much better than today's offerings.

from completed build Grandma to the rescue!

Video Card (grandmas gift): She runs everything I throw at it around 55-60 fps on medium/high settings. This is exactly what drove me over to PC's more, the high framerates. Were have I been all of my life without 60 fps and running everything at 10-25 fps on my old laptop and ps3. Overclocked it just slightly and have not seen any performance increases... Maybe I should OC a little more. Once again thank you grandma!
