i get flack for getting these over the Sennheiser HD 598 but i tried both and didnt really like the sennheiser ones. The trebble on these are a little higher then i would like but they still sound great and are the second most comortable headphones i have ever worn. Main problem is the wing support flaps are too loose and fall down on my head so i had to fixate it with a rubber band.

This exists in the station between cheap garbage like beats or razer junk, and the "audiophile" category where prices go up wildly for no real benefit. Does great in games and really well in music. It might not be as bass heavy if that's what you are into though so try and listen to it first.

Not audiophile grade phones by any stretch, but one of the best in the class.
