One of, if not the least expensive Z170 motherboards out there, but it works great. Plenty of features, but stripped down so you're not paying for toys you'll never use. Only down side is the Molex port for a fan controller is located in the middle of the board just under the CPU, so there's no hiding that cable.
Offers lots a features for such a cheap board. Gives a lot of headroom for future upgrades.
Perfect motherboard for my needs. Doesn't support SLI which I won't be doing anyway so I was fine with that. The little clip on the RAM slots and PCI-E slots were kind unconventional which initially worried me but they eventually turned out being much more simple to use. Only concern was the M.2 slot being under the GPU which made it just a tiny bit difficult to install an M.2 in the future (which I did)
Great board with lots of features and upgrade potential
Nothing fancy but it is a cheap LGA1151 Mobo with z170 architecture. I had no problems adding Ram profiles and installing OS. If I have to complain about something it will be the Color scheme.
This board does exactly what I need it to do. Offer me choices for CPU, as well as memory. A plus is that this motherboard allows 2-way Crossfire, but the downside is that I can't do 2-way SLI. Not a big deal, though, as most titles don't actually have been programmed for 2-way graphics. But at the current price point of most of the top-end graphics cards, I might be better of to do a couple of RX490's rather than a single 1080 XP.
Loving this motherboard so far! Has all the features I need at a very low price. Looks very pretty too with the metallic heatsinks and sleek black/white design. I/O shield isn't very sharp and feels solid. CPU socket is pretty foolproof and holds the processor in securely. RAM slots take a bit of a push but they do go in there. Has lots of PCIEx1 for small devices and has 2 PCIEx16 and Crossfire support in case you want more power in the future. BIOS was super easy to set up and works with mouse or keyboard.
This is an amazing mobo for the price and I would recommend it to first time builders.
Pretty good motherboard. I love its BIOS. I could easily change the RAM clock speed to 3200 MHz from the standard 2133 MHz. It took me a bit of time to learn but the interface was simple.
Very easy to flash update. Very easy to overclock with. I don't use the rear fan header because it's a 3 pin so a connected fan will always runs at 100% RPM (very noisy). To overcome this, I have the rear fan mapped to a 4 pin near the front of the board (I had to use an extension and a Y cable to make this happen). Great for the price, though.
Basic, Compatible with Skylake and Kabylake flashing the bios with an official update.
