A great motherboard for a decent price, but I've had some trouble within the case. The stacked SATA ports make it difficult to plug in 90 degree cables, but it works with straight cables. I've had some troubles with the system fans starting up at first, but after a while they'll kick in and spin. Otherwise no problems.

This motherboard was the perfect balance between features and price for me. It is based on the H87 platform rather that the cheaper and less feature rich B85 and H81 platforms. It accepted the Haswell Refresh CPU without needing a BIOS update.

MSI boards have always been solid for me and it was a good price when I bought it new a few years ago. 6 SATA 3 ports with HDMI out was what made me pick this up back then.
