It was a great price/performance CPU, but time has really taken a toll on it. It's starting to reach 100% usage even when doing daily tasks.

For a 4 year old processor I paid $100 for it held on pretty well. The single core performance when I was just playing a game was astounding when compared to something like the FX-8320, but it's low core/thread count hurt me a bit in more recent years.

If I were to go back I'd get it again. 5/5

good little CPU for my first gaming build. I wouldn't recommend intel now a days and nothing below 6 cores 12 threads. Zen for the Win. intel has to fix there security problems and innovate as they are still on 14nm++++++

Great core and has lasted me for a long time. When I first built my pc I used integrated graphics (some how) for a long time, and it still got the job done

A great processor for $60, but I should have opted for an i5 6500 since I am running a 1060. Good for gaming, but I can't really see its full potential due to bottlenecking.

This system is intended to be a low-duty file server, not a mega-transcoding media server. So an i3 is an entirely appropriate choice here. This particular i3 supports ECC RAM.

I powered it up; it booted. Nothing remarkable to report. I did not use the included stock cooler.

Great bang for your buck, Even though it's a core i3 it's perfectly able to run a few tabs, applications and game without any noticeable lag.
