Quite old by modern standards now, and I don't know if people even care about reviews for these in 2025, but it used to be a solid GPU for gaming back when I used it for that (2017-2019).

I've had this card since its release date (2016?) and most games set themselves to Ultra settings. Quiet, low power draw, just a good card!

A very solid 1080p card that can be bought used for less than $200. Has plenty of VRAM for modern titles and can stand toe to toe with some of the most demanding games if your target is 60fps.

Got this GPU for free, even though its on the older side it still looks good and performs quite nicely!

All I ever needed at 1080p or widescreen. Great temps when gaming.

This is an older card now, but despite its age, it's still pretty capable even today. If you were gaming @ 1080p, I do believe that you'd have no problem running most, if not all games at max settings without any issue. The only reason I've given it 4 stars is simply due to the fact that with 1440p/4K gaming, it can't really handle max settings all that well. Granted, I believe this was never intended to be used for 4K gaming, so all in all, it's still a relatively awesome card, it runs pretty damn cool & really damn quiet, so that's still an awesome couple of features.

Bought the card in a local deal right before the full pandemic shortage hit. I built my whole rig around this GPU in early 2021. Match made in heaven with the 7800X. Temps never go above 65C in the 4000D. Open air you're looking at 58C, and possibly better with good paste.

Pretty good gpu, but with the new Ryzen, it tends to bottleneck on games. Will be buying an RTX. But with my old Intel processor, it was fine.

Old reliable. For a 5 year old card it's still holding up rather well. The fans get pretty loud at load and the RGB software can be very inconsistent at starting up on a fresh boot, but overall it does it's job as a GPU without getting too hot or having issues. Hopefully the 3070 will carry that same value.

This card is still good at this time. it will not play the games on 4k or high fps on 1440p. but a steady 60 fps at 1440p can be expected with a mix of high/ultra settings. Tested AC origins and the card did not dissapoint. Would probably get a gtx1080 or TI for next budget build to have full potential. No ray tracing needed.
