from completed build Ultra Budget Gaming PC
Great CPU, does what I need it to do.
from completed build Flight V3 (Summer 2023 Update)
Still holds up in the market to this day. Never gave me a problem in its 4 years of use.
from completed build PC Flip 1(R5 2600, GTX 970)
Great cpu for the price I got it for. Still a strong 6c/12t in 2024. Has a great upgrade path to the 5800x3d.
from completed build Red & Black Aesthetic Budget Build
AMD's Ryzen 5 2600 provides excellent performance in productivity applications and competitive frame rates in games. It's also an attractive choice for anyone building a PC in a compact case, given a 65W TDP
from completed build My First Build (built in December 2020)
Works well for price, never had overheating problems.
from completed build First enthusiast pc
Runs like ice and it keeps up with modern games quite ok
from completed build CoVID Boredom Buster
Loved it in 2020 for a budget build, still love it in 2024. Showing it's age in a lot of ways, but it's handled everything I've thrown at it and more, only need an upgrade because some CAD programs I use are starting to give it some stress. Can't go wrong with Ryzen.
from completed build First PC Build - Dec 2021
Did the job nicely for a solid year. Ran every game at 1080p no issues. A bit slower than its 3600 & 5600 counterparts, but still decent. If you can get it for really cheap, a decent entry level part for AM4.
