A decent feature set and a bad-*** colour scheme makes an awesome motherboard. Some features are a bit surplus to requirements (Killer NIC, really?) but plenty of fan headers, ports, and expandability options are all a plus. No onboard video, but if you're trying to run this with no dedicated GPU, well, You're Doing It Wrong.

Works great! This is one of the best AM3+ 970 chipset motherboards out there, and if you can find it cheap, its great.

Its a well built motherboard, looks great, and the BIOS is easy to use.

This motherboard is very good for it's price. It's very appealing and packed with numerous useful features. It supports both CrossFireX and SLI. It has great sound which completely eliminates the need for a sound card for the casual user. The BIOS are great, it has endless amounts of options and overclocking literally is just changing two values. If you're only looking for a mild overclcok it's as easy as the click of the button which overclocks the CPU and RAM to a stable frequency.

If you want a Mainboard with much features on a low price, this is the right choice for you. But if you want to do a hard overclock, this is not the best choice, because the voltage drops too often and too much. If you want to do a hard, or even a light overclock you should choose the ASUS Sabertooth 990X.

Great price and does everything I need it to. Not that great for overclocking but gets the job done.

Great motherboard. First thing i bought for my build so it kinda decided the colour scheme for it from the beginning.

I stick with my black and red theme and decided to purchase MSI's 970 Gaming board, some guys said this wasn't built for overclocking. I was able to pull-off a stable oc for this board and temperatures seems to be just right.

As i look back i could have probably gone with a cheaper board but i mean it looks great especially if you have a side panel window. Other than looks, the bios is very user friendly and you are easily able to do overclocking on the cpu. Overclock genie built in so all you have to do is hit the button if you are not comfortable manually overclocking cpus. Plenty of headers for fans.

Great value mobo with a good set of features & looks. Although, you might want to consider low profile RAMs when using with aftermarket air coolers as my Hyper TX3 evo covers the first RAM slot. Kingston Hyperx Fury fits fine.

Can't beat the price if you're like me and don't need an overclocking board.
