If you want a Mainboard with much features on a low price, this is the right choice for you. But if you want to do a hard overclock, this is not the best choice, because the voltage drops too often and too much. If you want to do a hard, or even a light overclock you should choose the ASUS Sabertooth 990X.
Good features, not so hot on the overclocking, but great for an average builder.
Looks sick. Logically built. Love it.
The MSI 970 was chosen for its value, however, the layout was jarring, and it was a pain to connect the front I/O cables. Although, the placement and surplus of fan headers was a pleasant surprise.
Great MOBO, has great color co'ordination with my PC. Very easy bios set-up and initial set-up. Has enough space for SLI and it looks hot.
Good $100 MOBO. 970 chipset is alright. Board gets HOT. But no problems handling overclocks.
Great motherboard, bios is nice and simple to use. However too many drivers needed to be installed and one of those was just to get on the internet which I found a bit stressful.
Wasn't expecting a lot from this motherboard. Only $90 at purchase, but it has a ton of features, looks nice, and overclocks great.
Great motherboard, it has loads of nice features but the cpu power connector is in a stupid position ,the audio is not as good as msi makes it out to be, I have been having problems with speedfan on this motherboard and this board is rubbish for overclocking.
I paid good money for this motherboard but it didn't perform.
Looks great and plenty of options.
