The orange light is definitely noticable. If you hate the color orange I advise getting something else. But the UEFI is more simplistic compared to previous generations (looking at the F2A88XN-WIFI's UEFI).

If you don't care to overclock, it's got everything you could want from the Z170 line at half the price. I like the PCIe 3.0 NVMe M.2 slot, which you won't find in much else at this price point, the USB 3.0 support, and the 3 display outputs. Documentation is good, installation was easy. BIOS works just fine, though the software isn't available for Linux. The 2x4GB HyperX Fury Black RAM sticks were a little tough to push in, but otherwise, everything seated in it rather easily. Just be sure to check compatibility of your SSD before buying - I got the Samsung SM951 NVMe 128 GB drive and it ran with no problems.

Not a bad motherboard. I like the size. There's 4 memory slots if I want to upgrade to 16GB later. The only negative is having one SYS_FAN header.

This mobo is working great for me. Other reviewers on newegg seem to have had problems. I haven't had any though.

Pros +

+m.2

+4 ram slots

+Cheap

+6 SATA ports

Cons-

-will have to remove RAM to get to the switch to remove the GPU when I upgrade someday one pci slot is blocked by my video card, but the other one is open and I'm not using it anyways

other

There is an orange light for the audio channel. I thought it was kinda cool. kinda bright. half blocked by my GPU. It can be turned off in the BIOS if you don't like it.

It is good also works pretty well with my i3-6098P so no complaints also contains an HDMI port which is good.

Not bad for a budget motherboard. Onboard USB 3.0 headers, supports 6th gen Intel processors, supports more than enough RAM for any modern gamer, and on a B150 chipset. Overall pretty good.

This was my first motherboard and I have to say, it's great. The only problem is that it's a tad bit flimsy.

I had reviewed it well in the past but it didn't even last me a year. Just gave up one day.

It was a best deal when i looked for B150M. Z170 was a waste, H110 is just stupid.
