Does its job well.

I've never experienced a pure SSD so I cannot compare this one with a SSD, but compared to a traditional hard drive, it's really fast ! Windows gets booted under 10 seconds.

This worked great as a complimentary storage drive to my SSD. It is faster than a purely mechanical drive and more affordable than a similarly sized SSD although not as fast.

Coming off of an SSD, this drive is definitely a bit slow, BUT it definitely stands its ground! I was impressed by its speed.

Another MUST have in conjunction with OS SSD drive. I just can stand having a slow HDD bottleneck on my builds. You save up your hard earned money to buy the fastest CPU and fastest GPU but then cheap out on your storage? NO MORE! Get a small SSD along with 1TB of SSHD!

A solid little good performance hard drive, not the quickest but it works well and so far seems reliable and gives a good improvement in performance when compared to a conventional HDD such as the equivalent Barracuda 1TB.

Can't hit SSD type speeds, but its much faster than a standard mechanical hard drive. Its quiet too.

from completed build My First PC Build! Galaxy

Boots up into Windows 10 in under 25 seconds or so, really great. You can get a 250GB SSD for the same price, which is faster, but if you need the extra storage, then get this.

Got this for mass storage, can be kind of noisy at times though.

super quiet and my boot up speed is incredible something like 15sec. I love this drive if you cant afford to go full on ssd or you just need something for extra storage capacity then I recommend getting one of these they even have a 2tb version and I think a 3tb

update..i said 10sec before but its more like 15-20 still tho very fast and I'm happy with that till I save up for a nice ssd :)
