Well thought out high quality board with an excellent VRM.

Quite a pricey but definitely worth it. Semi-passive chipset fan; Triple M.2 slots; Extended Heatpipe; Steel Plated Memory Slots and PCIe Slots. The Mystic Light Infinity lighting looks beautiful too.

A tad bit pricey, but well worth the money. Onboard WiFi, steel-plated slots, different but beautiful RGB and support for the latest AMD processors without needing an update. Really happy with this one.

Great motherboard with a great feature set. The vrm temps are good and my ram is running at its rated speed. I would like to point out the m.2 heat spreader is not very good for long term use like large downloads (probably should have kept the m.2 heatsink that came with my drive) and it comes with a bad bios pre-installed (not like it was hard to use, but after about 2 weeks of use my computer randomly crashed and it was fixed by a bios update. Others had similar experiences from this mobo so i have to assume it is the bios.) Overall it's a great board.

Not sure if it's the mobo, Windows software, or the CPU, but there are many settings I try to apply that just are not accepted sometimes. The input lag in BIOS is also quite substantial, you really need to take your time to make selections. It also registers single clicks as super-fast double-clicks sometimes. Unless I'm missing something, which I may well be, the mystic light is not customizable from BIOS or Dragon Center. 4 SATA ports isn't great either, bet your bum MSI could remove some pretty useless or gaudy features that no researched person would use and get more SATA ports. Whatever.

That's the end of my gripes. This mobo is amazing at overclocking RAM, which behooves Ryzen very well. I very much like the layout and usability of the BIOS as well. The VRM is rock solid, and 3 NVME ports is nice too. I frankly think it looks great. Not gold enough in my build to stand out too much, but enough to have great-looking accents if you are looking for those. A nice mobo, to be sure, I'd recommend it if you are doing both RAM and CPU overclocks.

Purchased new for $380 from Microcenter.

Fantastic motherboard with fantastic looks. Unfortunately was one USB 2.0 and one fan header short for me (my own fault for not realizing) but doesn't create any performance issues. One of the best motherboards for Ryzen 9, but for anything like a 3800x, you'll be better off saving money on something like a msi gaming carbon board.

Great motherboard for beginners and experts. BIOS and software both have very good tools that enable users to tweak components as they see fit.

It's a solid motherboard but completely lacks Linux support. In Ubuntu 18, neither ethernet nor WiFi work. In Ubuntu 19, at least WiFi works, but then AMD's drivers are only for Ubuntu 18. I figure that Manjaro or Arch might be caught up, but that entails the same issues with getting an AMD GPU to work. MSI's product page only has Windows drivers, and it doesn't seem like they'll add any Linux drivers soon. (This is as of January 2020.)
