Great card, very fast, very powerful, demolishes nearly every game I throw at it. It's a shame that EVGA doesn't factory overclock the DT, but it's plenty overclockable anyway.

As to be expected with a EVGA product high performance and good looks.

Overclocks to around 2GHz (+125MHz) and +400MHz memory, very solid performance to the point it's hard to consider it "de-tuned". Runs cool, quiet, and looks awesome.

I'm knocking off a star for selling a model of the revered FTW without the one thing the FTW sets apart. The high base clocks. Other than that it is a really beautiful card, with excellent RGB lighting. And it's a 1080 so it kicks butt.

Great card, make sure you can fit it in your case! RGB's are great.

First card whined a bit, RMA'd for another card. That one whined too. I've learned to live with it given the fact that my case is pretty much completely open and I play with headphones for the most part.

Great card. The new 1180 cards are coming out soon, but honestly don't even see the need to upgrade any time soon. Pure overkill for 1080p gaming, and great for 1440p. Have no interest in 4K gaming, so this card is all I need. RGB too, so that adds 1000000mhz clock speed as we all know.

People freak out when they see the DT version and some even say it is less capable. But let me remind you that the DT versions are just as fast as any 1080 at base clock, they are labeled DT simply because they aren't stable at overclocked speed. If you see a DT card at a good price, buy it, it is a 1080. I bought this card from B&H for 429.99 USD with no tax, and it also came with a FREE EVGA G3 750W Gold+ psu(around $100). At the time of writing this review, you could have this 1080 or a 1070ti with no psu. However, don't have high hopes if you wanna try overclocking. This is my first time overclocking so I went by the books. After many hours of heaven benchmark, I got a stable 210/600. But when I launched Division and CSGO I was getting instability and glitches. So I tune it down to 170/500, but then GTA 5 won't work properly. Then I gave up overclocking all together.

but everything else works great, love the RBG.
