Bought really just for the color scheme. It does what its supposed to do, but has the issue with the NZXT X61 that I mentioned in my completed build. Have to dock it a bit for that but otherwise its been fine. Overclocks as it should.

Here's the thing. I'm a noob and this probably broke due to my stupidity so these stars mean a lot less, but here is my tale.
I bought this board for 3 simple reasons. It was very affordable for what it offered, It was from a well know brand and it looked dam sexy, way sexier than any other boards in this price range.
Unfortunately it get very hot very fast and the build quality is MEH so so. Friend have told me this board is "All looks" and I see what they meant. I'll admit in the end it blew because of one loose screw (my fault, didnt notice it while working on another part of the chassis) but that **** lit up so fast it not only fried itself the second i turned it on. it fried my CPU as well. DEAD AND DEAD in one second. From one grounding screw being loose.
Also when it did work the features didn't all work (fan ports and such) and like I said those sexy heat sink got super hot under light loads.
So take it or leave it I know some of you have had great luck with this board. Myself, I'm getting me an asus sabertooth ;P

Pretty solid motherboard. It looks great and works well. The issue I have with this is that the boot time is delayed by about 20 or 30 seconds because of random boot codes at the bottom left during start-up. Also, the temperature readings for the CPU temp is always dropping to about 4 degrees centigrade when the processor temp is under 40. I'm not 100% positive that this is the motherboard or the AM3+ chipset, or the CPU.

This is a budget board. The black/white theme is nice and all but when it comes to overclocking don't expect much. Also, the 970 chipset on this board gets EXTREMELY hot. I'm talking 95C+, once it hits over 110C the system throttles down, so DON'T overclock with this board. Other than that, USB 3.1 is Really Fast!

-------Motherboard------- I was told by a lot of people not to get MSI because of the problems that they had with them in the past, for example my friend told me that his gave out after about a week. Even with all of the negativity pointed towards MSI I decided to go with it anyway and I don't regret it. It works great for what I need and was easy to install/setup.

Great motherboard to work with. Wish it had another fan header or 2 but for the money and features can't be beat. Will update after overclocking attempt.

A great motherboard with a simple BIOS. It was easy to overclock with and had all the features I needed for a great price. Matched my build also ;)

It's a budget board. It fits my color scheme and it does what I need it to do. 4 RAM slots and 2 gpus.
