Not the worst headset I've ever had, but also not the best especially for the price point. I've had the headset spazz out on me three times and I've had it a little over a year. Mute button send the headset off the deep-end if you touch it. At least mine does. Probably going to consider other models in the future like the Arctis or Corsair Virtuosos.

    from completed build RGB Sync

I have the original version of the Tiamat 7.1, and can say this is a substantial improvement in construction. This version is half the weight, fits over the ear much easier, no longer has the painful headband (I removed mine and replaced it), has a reduced clamping force (no more headaches!), and the flip mic is much easier to use and less likely to break (like mine did).

I can't comment on audio quality since I've had system audio issues, but from what I can tell they are on-par with the original version.
