Large and in charge! This certainly lives up to its price-tag. It's got just about all the features one can want in a motherboard. Plenty of fan & pump headers, good heat spreaders for an M.2 drive, an optional Wi-Fi adapter, and more back io than most know what to do with! And to top it all off, there's a tiny OLED screen in the center of the motherboard which can be configured to the user's liking. By default, mine is showing CPU temperatures.

The thing is great. Probably overkill if you, like me, aren't going to make a custom loop, but the BIOS/UEFI is solid. Make sure you check the QVL for the memory, because I've had issues with the Corsair Vengence RGB (not Pro) which is not on the QVL list.

Incredible board with a few minor frustrations:

    • Pros
    • This is THE board for people who want to take cooling to the next level
    • Very solid build quality
    • Looks nice, with subtler LEDs and an imposing matte black finish
    • Cons
    • USB 3 header is facing out, which some might like, but I find frustrating when building in small spaces.
    • Very limited USB 2 connection
    • Fewer PCIe slots than my last board, though not a huge deal for me.
