this GPU is the reason behind my color scheme I love how sexy it looks and the quality of the materials is top notch and premium feel however If you want more performance and better cooling please buy the aftermarket version of the GTX 1080 like the EVGA FTW or Classy, Asus ROG strix or a Zotac amp gigabyte and msi have some good custom 1080 too so check them out.

The card is great, looks wonderful and can easily OC. That said you NEED to create a custom fan profile for the reference card. I feel that Nvidia was much too optimistic with their default fan curve. This does make the card louder but the performance gain from it is worth it.

Reference blower does actually work decently well in my Core V1

Found this on eBay used only for a few months. For what it cost, it is a great Graphics Card. Looks super sleek, just wish it had a bit better cooling. Can't complain about the performance though!

Taped off the area around the GPU die and applied Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut, dropped load temps ~10C and allowed me to relax the fan profile a little so my PC doesn't sound like a mini-tornado. +160 on the core gives me a solid 2025MHz boost clock, very happy with the performance in SLI.
