A fantastic choice of UPS! It's a Line Interactive type, which means that it will power your PC off of mains power directly, avoiding the battery altogether unless there is a blackout or brownout, and it compensates for inconsistent mains power by automatically correcting undervoltages or overvoltages. It also has something called "Pure Sine Wave" technology, which is just a fancy way of saying that it's digital DC-to-AC transformer is good enough to fool a high-end "Active PFC" PC power supply into thinking it's getting "authentic" AC.

Runs out of the box, but also includes a USB hookup and pleasant monitoring software (that stays quiet when you aren't looking for it) if you want to monitor your UPS more directly. The monitoring software cheekily integrates with both Ubuntu and Windows 10, providing battery charge levels to the OS as if the whole computer were a laptop!
