Long card. I can run The Witcher 3 on 1440p on ultra with Hairworks to the max.

Runs as expected. The RBG lighting was key, and the white leds looks great in my black and white build. Runs fast, cool, and quiet.

Pros: - looks beautiful - rgb lighting - performance

Cons: - not 2x8-Pin - louder under heavy load than a Zotac - 2 DP

Seems to be working great! I haven't tried to OC yet, but may in the future. I've got a lot of games to catch up on that I didn't want to play on my last build so I didn't want to waste time tweaking everything. My only gripe is that since this is a black and white theme I wanted the LED's to be all white, but when you put them on their white setting in the software they appear to have a little purple to their color which is lame.

I originally set out to purchase a 1070 with this system, but when I saw the price I had to jump on it. Plus it has RGB lighting, which was perfect because I wanted to keep my options open as much as possible. Haven't done any overclocking, but this card has handled everything I've thrown at it in 4k. I will do some benchmarking and record the numbers some day. Right now I'm just enjoying my first PC and what it can do.

from completed build First Build. White and Black.

Runs every game that have played on the highest settings. Just need a 1440p monitor and more than 60Hz refresh rate to make the most out of my card. And it has RGB!

Yes it performs exactly as a 1080 should, awesome. My issues lie in ASUS' STRIX RGB lighting, and the program they use to control it. We got the STRIX card for the exact purpose of being able to change the theme easily. The Aura software only controls one component at a time, meaning we have two separate programs we have to open to change all the colors(Aura(Motherboard) and Aura (Graphics Card)). Also ASUS' color wheel is abhorrent, and without any color code input you have virtually no chance of having that perfect color match on all your components. The white LED color on the top of the card is terrific, however on the underside it has that purple look some whites LEDs get. But after its all said and done, and you get your color right it is a wicked addition to any build. I have also heard that ASUS is planning on having their new hardware all run off of one Aura program, so if they patch the older stuff i will definitely come back and change this to a 5-star.
