Super fast, very good and high quality looking, good and quiet cooling ability, customizable leds. I really like my gpus for staying cool even in an oc'd SLI configuration. Under load they are noticable but not annoying. Maybe I will never go on a custom loop..

Tremendous card with great lighting. Overclocking is easy and successful.

After tweaking it's OC for a while, reached a very good 2101 boost clock with a decent temperature

An absolute powerhouse of a GPU. Though I still think it's overpriced here in Canada, it's still well worth the money if you want the best of the best.

Awesome card! Seriously if you are in the market from a GTX 1080 look no further. This card is a monster. Without doing any manual overclocking (I just open the Asus GPU tweak App and click the OC mode button) it overclocks itself to 2100 MHz which is great. I've never seen it thermal throttle and the hottest I've seen it get is 75 degrees Celsius (Unigine heaven for 20 minutes with everything maxed out). The fans are set to only spin up when needed which keeps the card very quiet and the RGB lighting is awesome for those with a side panel window. The Asus Aura software is easy to use and my favorite thing is setting the lighting to "music effect" mode where it flashes to the beat of your music (or to gunshots and explosions in games).

Simply incredible. The fans are relatively quiet, and temps will never get above 80C, and will usually stay around 64C unless you do a very odd fan curve. (80C was negligence on my part while adjusting the fan curve, this will never happen normally.)

I boosted mine to 2,138mhz, but had to bring it down to 2,100mhz for it to stay stabile. wonderful card. The LED software needs a bit of work if you are trying to get an exact color, but with patience you can do it. (yes, there is a real red, no, that melon orange it comes with is not its real red. You need to adjust the color wheel by about 4 pixels, lol)

->Make sure you have adequate case fans. This card heats up my room roughly 10F. keep airflow going and don't have anything blocking the intakes (wires, figurines, etc)

Over the course of 3ish years I went from WANTING the EVGA 780 Ti dual classified, EVGA 780 Ti 2 way SLI, ASUS 980 Ti Gold Anniversary, EVGA 1070 2 way SLI (read about heating issues with EVGA) and then finally settled with the ASUS 1080 OC edition. This card is godlike. Coming from the 750 Ti SC and before that 4th Gen intel integrated graphics. This is just perfect. I CAN FINALLY DO VR.

This thing is a beast in terms of power. No games I can't run with easy 60fps or more in 1080p and when pushed for 1440p with HDSR, it still gives 60fps easy. Love the LED schemes. Only issue is the size but that's extremely minor.
