Good budget X99 board. You do not have to sacrifice too much while saving money. My only complaint is that I ended up running out of USB 2.0 headers between my Cosair PSU, Cooler, and front panel USB. Overclocking ability may not be the best but I was able to get my i7 5820k to 4.5GHz on this board.
Great little mobo with everything I needed to achieve my OC goals. Lots of expandability and the black color looks great. Has lots of ports and fits everything perfectly. The only possible issue is that the enormous size of my Zotac AMP! Extreme GTX 1080 graphic card hides the M.2 slot and may cause some heating issues down the road on those long render nights. I'll have to monitor that one. Worst case we'll have to move the graphics card to the PCI slot closer to the CPU. The reason I've left it where it is now is so that we can get more air-flow to the CPU. Just note that if you use the M2 slot, you lose SATA 5+6 and SATA9+10 are NOT RAID compatible.
The SLI Plus is not merely a good budget-conscious X99 motherboard - you get a lot for very little, as this stealth black beast is loaded with a large amount & variety of inputs (including USB 3.1) and is sleek & solidly constructed. The board and its BIOS have a very clean, ergonomic aesthetic featuring intuitive one-click overclocking as well as more in-depth control across five customizable profiles.
This is the closest thing I found to an "entry level" X99 mobo - if you could call anything in the X99 "entry level." Granted, it lacks the premiere features such as built in wifi but I don't care.
128 gb of ram support for future proofing, 8 sata ports, an m.2 slot, four pci-e 3.0x16 slots with two 2.0x1 slots, 8 usb 3.0 slots and 2 usb 2.0 slots.
It doesn't have the bells and whistles, but this black ATX beast has it where it's really important.
I don't know too much about motherboards but I really like the on and off switch included to test if it will post before putting it into the PC! The RGB support is also cool (even though I don't use it) And I also like how the colour matches my theme :). One thing I do know about is the overclocking support on this motherboards BIOS is INSANE. Theres so much you can do with this board overclocking wise. It even has 2 modes, advanced and simple, depending on your knowledge...
I highly recommend this PC to anyone trying to beat overclocking world records, or to someone who just wants a good motherboard for everything! :D

The Motherboard has everything I'd want in a motherboard really. The spacing between the PCIe ports is good, except for the problem that seems to be on almost all motherboards that I have come across, and the PCIe x1 slots are right beside the main PCIe x16 which forces my Graphics card into the second lane. Because this motherboard has all of it's PCIe lanes equally fast, this isn't a problem here though.
