Amazing temps and noise volume have been very impressive, really cant imagine going to a AIO set up with temps like these.
I'm really happy with this cooler, very easy to install and it runs cool, 24C idle temps and 54C load temps with an i5-6600k OC'd to 4.4GHz. My only complaint is that the included thermal paste was pretty dried out until about half way through the tube.
This thing really blows! Really though, it looks great and works about as well as any air cooler could on my CPU. I'd go so far as to say that 70 degree load temps on a OCd 5820K is just fine for an air cooler.
at first im using a Thermaltake NIC L31 CPU Cooler and Core v1 case.. but i never get to overclocked my procie even on stock 4.4ghz .. when i'm rendering my temps go 79 degree 4.2ghz.. then i found this beauty cryorig r1 ultimate.. when i first installed cryorig (i only install 1 fan first because i have problem on ram height[vengeance pro]). at 1 cryo fan i feel huge difference on my temps when i'm rendering video my temps never go higher than 69 degrees, 4.4ghz 80% fan speed. and now i've installed both fans im running @ 4.7ghz never hits 70 degree.. very happy with this cooler..
Elegant air cooler with the performance near CLC's and fewer points of failure(just a little bit scared of putting liquid near my machine when I would be unable to replace -IF- it leaked).
I didn’t want to water cool so I went with this bad boy. Some coolers are a nightmare to install but this one was as easy as it gets (no seriously, great design by Cryorig). It keeps my OC cool at 62 degrees. And this thing looks beautiful, unlike some other brand (that I won’t mention) who’s fans are the color of vomit.
Awesome cooler. It keeps my i7 5820K very cool even in a "silent" case that has reduced airflow. It's very silent itself and I cant hear it at all through my case. Generally speaking the installation was very easy, but I did run into an issue where the included screwdriver didn't seem to want to line up with the mounting screws, I had to remove a fan so that I could come at it from an angle in order to secure the cooler down.
IMO CPU air cooler looks cooler than water coolers (which looks too simple and a bit expensive). It performs really well and very quiet.
Man, I love this cooler. Not only does it look better than the likes of the NH-D15 and Dark Rock Pro 3 (imo), it's dead quiet at idle, and barely audible under load. Keeps my 5820k nice and cool, and is basically silent. At 70 dollars, it was too good to pass up.
A little bit snugly but it was a gamble that I chose to make knowing that there might be case compatibility issues. It still fits fine and performs as it should nonetheless. Mounting it onto the motherboard was a breeze and the fans are quiet on idle yet still bearable on load.
