My first mechanical keyboard and love this thing. Not great to work with, but good for games. That is because it is very unforgiving with mistakes and you mistype very easily. Good for twitchy fps though.
My absolute favorite of the K-series keyboards. If you don't mind the lack of a num-pad and can splurge on a keyboard, I would recommend this.
Compact, feels great. The keys seem like softtouch, so the keyboard is very comfortable
I have had this keyboard for about 2 years now and it still works perfect. I love the compact size and the RGB. But the best part is the Cherry MX Red switches. Perfect input times with no delay at all and they feel great.
I was planning to get the rgb strafe but when i tested the mx silent keys, i didnt like the feel so went with the k65, and dont regret it.. the size of the keyboard for me is perfect, mx red switches perfect!
MX Reds but didn't really start to shine until I put on some pbt caps and added some O-rings. Now I love it, and the aluminum faceplate really pops.
These go on sale a lot these days, and they're absolutely comparable to the other entry level mech boards like Duckys or Coolermasters, and also offer Corsair service (which is nice considering Ducky is Taiwan) and nothing else in this price range has an aluminum back plate and RGB.
A really nice and comfortable keyboard to type on. RGB profiles are super nice, but the reason I only give it 4 stars is because Corsair CUE doesn't always recognize the keyboard and I've got to plug in and unplug it from time to time.
Phenomenal keyboard. I love playing around with the lighting options, but just as a typing tool, this thing is top-notch. STRONGLY recommend any of the Corsair K-series for any use, be it gaming or office.
I needed a compact keyboard. Cherry red switches were excellent for gaming or for anything I do actually.
K65 RGB is great, I do have a few dead pixels on it though and it is a pain to clean.
