from completed build My (mediocre) first build

£9, does the job. Installed the drivers that came with mobo, GPU etc... So it's all good for me.

Optical Drive: Got this purely for installing drivers that came on CD's.

I can say with confidence that this installed windows like a champ. Not sure how much more I'll use it.

Bought it to install Windows 8.1 and some drivers. Works well for the price.

Optical drive, does the job. Just happened to be cheaper than the other options at the time.

Read the Windows 8.1 installation disc like a champ. 10/10, would install OS with it again.

This has to be the LOUDEST Optical drive I have EVER owned. I always go with LG and was disappointed by the built quality and excessive noise from Samsung.
