Excellent as a boot drive with all my primary programs. Boot times are usually under 20 sec which is fantastic!

Very fast and a great price!

Great for speed, but I dock a star for the low capacity (admittedly my fault for not thinking it through enough). You can make do with this drive for just your OS and programs, but don't expect to install many games to it.

The best SSD out there. What makes Samsung SSDs unique is the Samsung Magician Software, I find it really useful.

Simply marvelous, I just love when my Windows starts in less than 10 seconds :D

Use this just for my operating system. Super boot times.

Super fast. Super quite and never gets hot. Price continues to drop. 128g is all that I required, and I only use half. Samsung name continues to impress.

Fast drive. I am happy with it so far after 6 months. I use it for primary OS, most of my storage is in the cloud now after a series of failed spinning drives. With Sparky Linux my boot times are a few seconds until sign on. Wish I had bought another as the 850 Evo has had bad press.

Right after I purchased this SSD, I began reading about slowdowns on this particular brand. But I have never updated the Firmware of it, and it has been consistently fast since day one. I'm now planning on getting another one of these things to put into my laptop.
