the bass is there but its not comparable to something with dedicated sub-woofer, but it allows you to add one if you really need it and it will run as a high tier 2.1, i am using them for over a year and I've never felt in need for that much bass.

because :

  1. it is useless.

  2. it doesn't look good.

  3. i like the dominator with the cablemod black kit so there is no reason to cover it with that brick.

  4. it will add 2 fans and 1 extra cable to my build for no reason ( extra noise for free ).

  5. its for 4 DIMMS and my board is 2 DIMMS only

enough reasons ? :-D

F51 is too big, if you want something even better from thermaltake, get the smaller one F31 or get the original Define R5 or Define S.

and the desk is not from Ikea, its L shape office desk (but i removed it half of it)

good mobo for mid range oc ( dont go above 4.6 unless u dont care about throttling during gaming or heavy work ) and the 390 is nice but I got 390x as a gift from my wife so I sold this one and got another 390x on crossfire xD but it used to work very well (bf4 ulta,,,etc 90-120 fps on 2560x1080)

31337x submitter 1 Build 1 point 38 months ago

4.5ghz is great on that board, 4.6ghz is ok if u have good air flow, 4.7ghz and throttle will start and you will start lose performance.

this monitor is EPIC for EVERYTHING, running multiple Virtual machines like a boss(my main use) and games run on it very smooth (75Hz).

get the freesync one if you are using ATI graphics cards or the gsync one if you are on Nvidia (with price difference of 200+ USD).

Thank you so much, Ill check the RAWB since I am already tested the PH-f140SP and I did not see any different between them and the fans I am having now (CL-F039).

i believe that AMD says that 390x max temp is 95 so i think i am still in the safe side, my bottom 390x temp never hit 70 but the upper one produce too much heat in the case. lets see what will happen with the new mobo.

this monitor was a steal, 800USD but i had 200USD gift cards and my old LG sold for 250 USD so technically the acer cost me 350 USD.

I dont think my CPU is that good since i have to push it to 1.55V to get stable 5GHz but the motherboard cant handle that 24/7, it keeps throttle the processor.

Thank you.

I did not made it from scratch as you can see its an update for my previous build and i mentioned this in the old build

Because I used to move a lot I had to use laptops for 15 years and all the laptops were Intel/Nvidia all the way (I >am writing this using my Lenovo Y410p) but this year I decided to build a PC and it will be AMD/ATI all the way so I >came up with this built.

31337x's Completed Build: Ultimate-FX

31337x submitter 1 Build 1 point 38 months ago

true xD, I feel like pushing the cpu more but not on this mobo (I dont want to break it since it will go to another machine).

thank you for ur advice but 1. I dont feel like going for AIO water cooling kits anymore, the H90 changed my mind on all water cooling kits so i think ill go for NH-D15.

  1. G1 R9 390 is lovely, actually I was going to get it first but I wanted to get something which is totally unknown in our market and the only 2 respected companies u cant find anywhere here were XFX and Sapphire and i picked the nitro, and I DID NOT regret that pick and i would do it again.

  2. G2 SuperFlower vs GS Seasonic, u cant go wrong if u pick any side to go with

thank you for the cooling schema and the cfm calculation, i really appreciate it.

I am thinking on adding/changing some parts on this beast such:

  1. 1TB SSD 850 EVO
  2. R9 390 Nitro 2-way CF
  3. NH-D15 (H90 is kinda noisy)
  4. 3 NF-A14 FLX 140mm
  5. EVGA 1000w GS

31337x submitter 1 Build 1 point 42 months ago

u are going to buy 1000w power supply with 390 crossfire+amd fx no matter what, if my calculation is right u will need atleast 850 to run it so going for 1000w with 150 extra watts to make ur psu breath is not a bad idea. xfx r9 390 (8+6) is not a bad choice but i like sapphire products.

actually M5A99FX PRO is really nice and stable my only problem with it is its color ( my case has no window but still I cant just ignore the fact that the mobo inside is blue xD)

u cant go wrong with tier one 990fx mobos like ud3 or sabertooth

actually i was going to pick sabertooth but its 164+ USD so i decided to save the 30 USD and use it for shipping my ud3 r5 xD.

990FXA-UD3 (rev 4) is known to be so good with 8+2 power phase and that gives it the ability to be good for OC and to be able to run FX-9x series so lets hope 990FXA-UD3 R5 is just the same (this is a new mobo not just a rev of ud3)

I cant guarantee anything about it because I am still waiting for it(3-5 more days) but i guess u will be fine with it.
