I did some more thorough searching and think that the Audio Technica ATH-AD900X is just what I need~

I'm pairing it with the mic you linked too, thanks again for the suggestions, I managed to do some more thorough research and stumbled across these c:

I didn't think about getting a little mic like that, but if I go with that solution I have to find some nice headphones that most certainly have to be less than $200, maybe even around $150. It's a good suggestion though since it broadens my choices a bit more. Thanks!

The Sennheiser One looks pretty nice. A bit more on the costly side, but sound quality is super important to me so I might just pick em up. Thanks for the suggestions!

Alright, I'll probably go for it. Just to calrify, those black ports by the red PCI ports on my motherboard are PCIe correct? If I ever choose to SLI would the wireless adapter get in the way?

Probably could've done better like gotten a slightly better GPU and better PSU since it was about $800 without monitors in the price, somewhat over $700 if you exclude Windows. I don't get why you got the FX 6200 instead of the 6300 either but okay. I havn't used that headset myself but my Creative Fatal1ty is nice and about the same price...just that you gave it 3 stars.

Good deals especially with Windows and the GPU. I used that case for my build and like it. How did you get Windows 7 Ultimate so cheap though?

http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1890751/fit-270x-gigabyte-edition-nxzt-source-210-ellite-case.html

I found that it just means it'll be blocked by high up hard drives and it'll be a bit close with only about 20mm of space but it'll fit. I'm probably gonna get a different case with 4 USB ports on he front and a window later one, or who knows maybe this one will grow on me and be kept.

I'll probably make use of one of the 5.25 bays to put an SSD in there eventually and move Windows over to it. Do you know if I'll have to put in my key again and will I lose everything when I move it?

The build seems nice but why did you pick an FX-4230 over a 6300 when they're about the same price? The hard drive for like $2 or $3 more you could've gotten 1TB. As for the graphics card, the r7 250x and gtx 740 seemed to be at better prices or cheaper with one gtx 750 barely making it at about the same price as the 250 you got since 2gb of VRAM would most likely be enough for gaming.

Other than that it looks like a solid build.

That was one of the coolers I considered but for AMD it has to be turned horizontally rather than the usual vertical position, does that affect anything?

Comment reply on Forum Topic "$1000 Gaming PC, ordering in a few days"

alright, I made some changes to it and after mail in rebates it would be even less. I kind of wanted the Scythe Ashura Shadow but I'd rather save some money than have a black heatsink if they have the same performance, plus I won't Overclock for a while and even then it won't be a giant one. I even get a free game with the GPU, it's between a badly ported Assassin's Creed (probably the one), a game I already have, and a racing game but it's free. If the mushkin RAM wasn't out of stock I'd pick it over the Team Zeus but oh well.

---edit---

What are your thoughts on the Fractal Design Define R4? I really don't like those holes in the side so I would probably get the windowed version and it has the extra USB ports that I want. It even has noise reduction so I think that I may get it. Any thoughts between that and the NZXT S340? Today is probably the day, if not tommorrow due to the nice discount on the Seasonic PSU.

the price was better just a little bit ago...darn. As for the case I want to have at least 2 intakes and an exhaust and the Bitfenix Ronin was cheaper but I'm only going to get an optical drive put in if it has the spot and the price ended up being about the same as this. I'm not having a good time finding a cheaper case that fits the bill and has 4 USB ports on the front.

Alright thanks, i'll probably have a 140mm on front and 120mm on back to leave the space on the top clear for whenever I work up the courage (and the money) to do a custom loop. Why do you advise against having a side fan? It would bring in more air and help cool off the GPU.

What's with all the downvoting? Sure the name is unoriginal but otherwise it's nice. He didn't say anything about mods but 16gb is better than 8gb for heavily modded games, although it would've been better to get them in a 2x8gb set. If he ordered the parts after the 970/80 came out then that would be where he messed up and 1tb of HDD would certainly be nice.

It looks nice but like he said without overclocking something like a 212 EVO would probably do just fine if you want to save a little money. I would get Windows 8.1 if you don't already have 7 just because it will be supported longer and you can always hide metro and install the windows 7 start menu. Personally I would get this optical drive just because IMO it looks nicer. Also I can assure you that it's a nice mouse, I have one but the only disappointment is that I can't have the lights change color when on a custom profile.

Alright, I didn't think much about about the fans messing each-other up and I do plan on getting the side fan since a cool GPU is a happy GPU.
