Just a stunning little build.
Thank you very much!!! I hope my next one will be as appealing.
No. There is not enough clearance from the rad.
Ha! I do prefer The Dark Lord in black.
No video but there must be something on YouTube. It’s basically 6 screws to removed the fan shroud on top, six screws to remove the heat sink from the chip and then 8-10? Screws to remove the backplate from the board. Led connectors simply unplug. Don’t be scared, just be careful!
It’s already on my mind.
Rights have already been forfeited to my wife...Like everything else I own. (Sorry, she owns) :D
To say it feels great is an understatement. It’s only downhill from here :D
I’ve looked at other recent builds and I can see at least 3 that I think should have featured before me...especially Thatoe’s Little Shoebox build. It’s awesome.
Very nice little build. The H200i is my favourite Mini at the minute. Might have to try a Lian Li next.
What you going to build next???? :D
Thank you! I think just controlling myself and not 'overdoing' the pink helped. Less is more I guess.
Didn’t pull the thing apart no. Just used lots of paint tape and paper.
You have 1 usb 2.0 header and 1 usb 3.0 header internally.
I was looking for a "different" mini-ITX case for my next build. There are a couple on Kickstarter now with this and one from Thor-zone.com I like this one a lot though. Not showy or over the top...just does it's job.
It's perfect and you've done a great job.
Do it! So many options for minis now. I hope more people ask me to do mini builds.
I’m upset by this...it’s hurt my feelings.
It actually doesn’t regards fitting the rad. I did ‘fret’ about it for a little while as I had read online about closed loop systems needing to be mounted the opposite way for correct operation. However, I looked at ALL of NZXTs promotional photos of Krakens fitted to an H200i...they’re all fitted with the hoses from the top. I guessed if it’s good enough for the manufacturer...
And regarding the gap as soon as I’m home I’ll post more pictures. I’m in Norway until the end of March though so hopefully you can wait that long.
Thanks so much for the feels.
Dude, your words give me a warm fuzzy feeling!
In fact, in picture 8 you can see how very very close it is. Will get better pictures of it when I’m home.
Currently in Norway so will have a look and see if I have any pictures of how “snug” it is. It’s a very close fit between the GPU cover plate and the bottom of the AIO rad.
Thanks, I must have sat on the idea for 3 weeks before commiting. Needn’t have worried, it turned out as planned.
Socking it to the man...in my own, understated way.
If this gets featured I will literally EXPLODE with excitement!
