And is there any issue with using an Intel CPU with an AMD card?

I have a monitor, keyboard and mouse from my old desktop that I can use. I'll eventually upgrade my monitor but I'm thinking I'll just use one of my TVs as a monitor for now.

Right now I'm running:

4GB Ram Intel core i5-2430 cpu @ 2.40ghz

I have a copy of Windows 7 so that's not an issue.

I mean,I want to make it better than what I'm currently running obviously.
