Always go dual-channel memory for Ryzen, especially for APUs and 'first gen' chips

If you wanted to keep expandability as an option, a B350 board would have been a better choice to squeeze more performance out of the CPU.

I agree completely. Overpriced 1060, not even the best AM3+ CPU, $50 for a ketchup PSU, he really screwed up. You wait for deals and go for used GPUs, not $70 for a cheap AM3+ motherboard or $290 for a 1060.

You way overpaid for that 1060. I would have gone with a used GPU.

A classic case of success found, and not suitably followed up (market domination for NES and Wii). They are like the Big Three in cars, they kill things too quickly and never make the successful thing better.

Nintendo probably was lazy and wanted to save money by going for a GameCube based system, and then doing nothing to support it past 2009.

You should have saved yourself some money with a good used GPU. You paid way too much for that 1050 Ti even if you bought it on sale.
