One for the PCPP and MSI guys, as I'm in the UK, will I have to pay tax and import fees?

The 6700K has a higher IPC rate as well.

The 6700K has better single thread performance than Broadwell-E, and generally games only utilise a single thread. Also, If I went for Broadwell-E, I would have to kill off the SLI.

I thought the EVGA cooler looked horrid in the initial photos, but in the flesh and in a case it looks much better.

Very nice and the first build I've seen on here with an EVGA 1070. I wish I could afford a PC like this.

+1, just for Strafe RGB!

Just kidding, your PC and desk is awesome too. Would prefer a side-by-side monitor setup instead of stacked.

Wow. These ThermalTake cases are really loved at the moment! This is a really nice build, and I hope you are proud of yourself for building something this magnificent.

P.S. Did you decide against using the cat? I would have SLI-ed it with that 970 if I were you!

This is a really cool SFF build. You should be proud of this. You should also be proud of the fact you could get a non-K SKU to 4.75 GHz. My friend's 6600K won't get there! You have quite literally won the silicon lottery wit that chip. Well done with the build, and I wish I had a PC like this.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "G910 Orion Spark Owners, how bad is the bezel key caps as people say they are?"

I didn't like them, I tried one at my local PC hardware store, and I bought a STRAFE RGB the same day. Haven't regretted the decision, and in my opinion the MX Browns are better than the Romer-Gs, I thought they felt more like membrane switches than anything else. The backlight may look better on the G910, but i prefer the simpler, smaller design of the STRAFE.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Reliable RGB product?"

Not on the STRAFE RGB, that only affects the K70 RGB and K95 RGB because they use an older LED controller, which doesn't completely support 16.8 mil colors. The STRAFE RGB has an updated LED controller, and doesn't have the flickering issue.

I don't think I'm going to win either, but you don't have a chance if you don't enter. I partially do these for fun as I like putting lists together on a budget for friends and family, This is one of the firsts lists for myself!

I love how you have been restrained, unlike me, (build here : https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/guide/6RCmP6/msi-build-your-dream-pc-guide-black-and-white-red-isnt-me ), and have shown you don't need the best PC to enter this contest. The GTX 970, with a decent OC can run Star Wars Battlefront 3 at 4K at around 40fps, BTW.
