You so realize that the 850 evo is obsolete and has been replaced by the 860 evo, right? the MX500 ties with the 860 evo and certainly the 850. There is 0 sense in spending 700 bucks for an 850 evo.
Jeez you could have saved a crud ton on those 850 evos! An MX500 2tb is about 280 dollars which is nearly a third of what those ssds cost!
You do realize 1070s go for about 350 and 2070s go for 500 or more... I got a 1070 strix 350 and it's a real champ, it evens out at 2088mhz at +80 core, max voltage, max power/temp
What mouse is in the last pic?
s340 is an outdated case; the H500 is the replacement.
At high settings and not using the APU there is little to no benefit from dual channel. 1 stick would be better for future upgrading if he ever decides to do something that needs 32gb or more of ram.
How's the clearance with the graphics card and the front fans? I have a rog strix 1070 and I'm thinking about this case.
You could have got an rx 580 for the price of that 1050 ti or an rx 570 which is cheaper and faster than a 1050 ti
Haha it looks amazing though... the cable management was worth it
All i wanna say is damn
the 860 evo 1tb is about that price and it comes in m.2...
Your listed temps are not hot... what do you mean?
Oof i have a diypc case and the quality sucks... dont buy ciypc guys
Don't worry guys, nvidia reverted the drivers
A 970 pro is M.2 so it won't even POSSIBLY get in the way of airflow and even a 2.5" ssd won't get in the way of airflow if it's properly mounted in an ssd cage
Get a better CPU cooler and a bigger ssd
next step: 1070 ti and 144hz monitor
Use periods please this is a nightmare to read
for the ssd and gpu there are def better deals you could have gotten like an 860 evo 500gb for that price and also any rx 580
how's the temps and noise from that gpu?
Nice build! +1 for crazy space efficiency
coulda gotten an rx 580 4gb which is the same performance and more fans for 50 bucks cheaper, but otherwise nice build, love that case
where did you get that green led pad above the psu?
wait did you actually pay 30 dollars for an intel stock cooler
No he swapped the ram 3000mhz is enough speed for a 2600
the cable management hurts me
oh my lord
Dude you NEED faster and dual channel RAM to get good results from that APU... you can literally go from 20 fps in games to 60 just by using dual channel and 3000mhz or faster
You should try to overclock that monitor's refresh rate to around 75 hz. Anything above 60 looks and feels way smoother.
They might help with your 3dmarkscore but not with your eardrums lol
The fans aren't supposed to always run at 100% RPM, if you have a good fan curve they shouldn't be too loud and you will still get good thermals
You could get an EVGA powerlink to make your gpu power cables less ugly, the only cost like 10 bucks
Any 240mm or 280mm from a known company with good reviews should work, but EVGA has a 280mm AIO that isn't too expensive and EVGA has amazing customer support and makes good stuff so I would get that.
I think the choice of the i7 7700k when the 8700k is already out (and outperforms it by a lot due to 2 more cores) is a bit odd, and you should have gotten an AIO with a much bigger radiator so that you can overclock farther. Also, 32 GB of ram is way excessive for gaming, as most games barely use of 8 gigs of ram, but if you're doing heavy workload stuff, then that's understandable
You can get a lot more power out of your CPU by using faster ram (3000 mhz+) and also the rx 580 is a much better value than the gtx 1060, getting the same performance in games and having more vram for a lower price
sorry, when I said that i was like dang why do you need such a beastly cpu I wasn't trying to be like "HOLY CRAP UR DUMB HAHA" I just should have payed more attention to the way I said it because you can't use tone of voice through text
If it's going to be jedi vs sith then why are you using chewbacca... he's not a jedi haha
Holy crap dude why do you need a threadripper? If you're going to be using it for gaming you could have saved a lot of money and gotten a cheaper cpu that would have better gaming performance and then gotten a better gpu like a 1080 ti
this is not a well budgeted build... for the same price you could have built something a lot nicer for gaming and editing
keep the price reasonable buys 500 dollar gtx 1070 and unncessarily expensive motherboard and 270 dollar cpu w h a t
could have gotten a ryzen 5 2600 and a gtx 1070 ti
bahaha the gt 710 cant do crap gaming wise
did you actually spend 824 dollars on a gtx 1070 ti?
Nice build! The only thing I would change is that mess around the gpu cables. plus 1 for plusle
now THAT'S A LOTTA STORAGE
nope, get the 2600 and overclock it. same exact cpu just one has a factory oc
Get 144hz it's better than 1440p 60hz or 75hz
