I have this case, and I also use the Hue+ and they work great. I only have they amount of strips that come with the kit,(i think its 4 strips) but what ever the default is it works great! I used the extensions to help it reach around the bottom right corner of the windowed panel. I plugged the long extension into the back of the Hue+ which i mounted in the right ssd spot and routed the extension up threw the drive cages so you can't see them and started from the top right and went a crossed the top to the left then down and to the right and then up. and went diagonal with the right side of the window so you couldn't see the strip. Since the case is metal it sticks really well and I had no problems putting the stips in. If you would like a picture to help explain better email me @ eprice1120@gmail.com and I can send you a picture.

They are magnetic and also have double sided tape that you can use attached to the back. Most cases are metal on the inside, so they should work in most cases that way; if not the double sided tape always works, but I'm not sure how well it works

Super easy! The software is also a breeze to work with. Ive had the Hue+ since they came out and have never had any problems. They are pretty bright and feature a lot of different modes, with more to come.
