Thanks for the response. I don't think I'll be able to do that, and I can't risk damaging the mobo.
Alright thanks bud - and again, a very nice build!
Hi there, great build! I hope you don't if I can ask about the motherboard as I'm looking to get that same model. Have you noticed any wierd flexing of the mobo? Do the thermals on the VRM's feel okay? (if you have that data)
Cheers, that's good to know.
Ah thanks I didn't know that!
I recently read somewhere that the VRMs on the asus model tend to overheat or something? is that possible ?
Alright mate, thanks for the input!
Alright thanks a bunch mate, lots of good thoughts and ideas in there, I'll be sure to keep them in mind!
This is super sexy man, penny for your thoughts on the Cryorig cooler?
Oh that's quite interesting, thanks for the info mate!
Right thank you!
Ah I knew there was some odd functionality with the FX 8320 cores! Thank you for your reply.
Thanks a million this helps a lot!
Ah so I should indeed be a-ok than! I shall contact Corsair.
Fair point I hadn't thought about that!
Ah yes but I was also concerned about what would happen when I turned it on after a long night :)
Yeah I like Hardware Canucks' reviews too!
Cheers, I didn't know about demcifilter this will be useful indeed.

Thank you for the reply, If prices remain stable I think I may just go for the TUF!
Yeah turns out I have some nice fractal design fans lying around so I'm gonna do the same :)
Yeah I was thinking about noctua, but they are quite pricy (for the black ones); but thank you for the advice, I appreciate it!
Yep happen that helps a ton, cheers Sponix :)
Yes that clears things up a great deal! Thank you for the help, I really appreciate it :)
But I am correct in thinking that the limiting factor in transfer speed will almost always be the read/write speed of the SSD?
This may be a wee bit late as you may not even see this, but can the red lights be disabled on that motherboard?
Yeah I definitely won't be moving it while it's spinning, glad I didn't miss that physics lecture :D
Okay that's good, cheers.
Alrighty thanks, I messaged the guys at Seagate and they seem to agree there.
Happen those Doritos are gonna swing it I reccon'.
Ahah very informational, I did not know that regarding the drivers. I shall consider the cards at after June in that case, thank you! :)
I reccon you're right, I'll do that too.
Yes I think you are most definitely correct here. I do think I will indeed wait a while anyway, so maybe I will be able to purchase a 1070.
Well, erm... You see I've already done a re install of windows, and I tried restoring it from a backup, but every time it comes up with the same thing - I think my options are rather limited, and I think I'm probably just gonna buy another key.
It's frustrating, but I honestly think I might as well - thanks for the help though, I really do appreciate it :)
Well, I called and this automated American voice came on, told me to press 1 if I was a home user, and then it said to enter my key. He then said it had been blocked, and that if I need support I should contact Microsoft :/
So the help line kinda loops around.
Thank you for the quick reply. While it did reset the activation timer, when I attempt to activate it(even by phone), it says "The product key you typed has been blocked from use by Microsoft", and then gives me the options to "buy a new key", "retype my key", "use the phone system" or contact "Microsoft to help resolve this problem" - all of which I have tried(except buying a new key of course).
It makes this look like I own a counterfeit version, but if that was the case then why has it been working for a year now?
ok, thanks :)
My mistake, you're correct :)
That's a really good motherboard, that's a really good cpu, you've basically chosen all my favorite parts! I would give +10 if I could.
Just one note, however:
- The CPU runs at 3.5GHz, & you said you wouldn't be doing any overclocking, so how come you've listed the clock speed of the CPU at 4.0GHz?
Great build, you should be mighty proud :)
I really like this build actually, you're probably getting down-voted due to your lack of text in the Title & Description. I built something similar to this, so I give you a +1 :)
This is a really nice build :) Tell me, did you do the custom sleeving or did you buy that?
Not in the U.K when I last checked.
In actual fact there are only 2 7950's available in the U.K - or at least that is all that shows up on my screen.
Just to bring to your attention:
The first one shows that the 760 gives more performance-per-currency than the R9 270, and when I bought my GTX 760, it was actually cheaper than the R9 270, 270X, R9 280 & even the 280X.
Yes it is one of the best in my opinion - great build by-the-way with that Kaveri APU!
If you don't mind me saying, the 7950 3GB costs quite a bit more than the GTX 760, and I wouldn't need the extra performance anyway :)
Thanks! Yes I shall remove the Hard Drive base, thank you for the advice :)
I asked my dad who he got the CD from and it turns out this guy works at Dell, and got a bunch of cheap copies that he then sold on Ebay - I honestly don't know why else it would say Dell - and I know it's not pirated because I get all the windows features and support.
yes they work absolutely fine - there is no difference except the fact that it is OEM.
