Comment reply on RedLogo's Completed Build: Machine Learning 1080 Ti watercooled

yep didn't miss it , and yeah of course it's a great game along with being one of the most optimized games for Linux , a good choice for testing the gpu (with the reborn update the game now craves a good gpu more so than a good cpu ) u def should check out AMD Ryzen 7 (8 cores cpu 300$ to 500$ range ) also there's Ryzen 5 or even wait for ryzen 3 (a 4 core unlocked cpu for the price of an i3) for now your i3 gets the job done stick with it ~

weird parts that caught my eye but then i read the description and understood what u're going for and now I knw abt machine learning , more like Dota learning ! m interested in the frame rates that u're getting with i3/1080ti how does it perform/look with max settings @1080p ? and u could've gotten a Ryzen 5 1400 and a good 90$ B350 mobo for slightly pricier than a i3/h270 combination but with so much more performance gain, in the end it's still an awesome build +1

m drooling at this build , good job man +1 but if u were going to spend big why get a cheap mouse and keyboard ? a 550$ mobo and 600+ Ram to then only get a 30$ mouse/keyboard combo cn't get this into my head !

did I ever say "need" I said it would've been possible that's all , the RVZ 02 is esthetically more pleasing than his current case , he doesn't need a gpu just pointed out a better case for roughly the same price , it's more abt the looks ~

a nice htpc ! could've gone with the SilverStone RVZ 02 for 5$ dollars more and get so much in return on esthetics and build quality ! along with the possibility of adding a gpu down the line even if u already have a gaming pc , regardless well done :)

or a skylake i5 6400 (the equivalent for the Haswell i5 4460 ) with a cheaper H110 board ! and u can get an AOC 21.5" Monitor 1 ms 75hz w/ freesync to go with the r9 380 (best budget Gpu btw) or he can stick with that AOC 27" monitor if he wants to and there's no need for an SSD here frankly

I strongly advise not to buy any of these parts ! Look around for budget builds in that price range at pcpartpicker , u'll get a better ideea of what u can and cn't buy !! here's an exemple of a 1000$ build I just made http://pcpartpicker.com/p/CnZ3qs u can change the monitor if u'd like I just put something decent with freesync as most games will run from 65 to 85 fps range depending on your high to ultra setting with the R9 390 or this build with a R9 380 and a keyboard , mouse and headset http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2tXtwP

Great build and well done ! u did pretty well for your first time I think , abt the cpu even a i5 6400 would get the job done for 20$ less and put that into something else anyways it's not that important , the 380 is the best budget 1080p card period ! excellent choice , overall decent cable management there, this build w'll make you happy for year to come (noticed the strafe I love that keyboard but I dn't have it duh)

yep they're great , thank you and you're right maybe i'll get a single r9 390 ,frankly i dn't knw , I wanted to upgrade the build later on and use the r9 380's in other builds but the more I think abt it the more I think it's beneficial to have the r9 390 especially for that 144hz monitor !

I like the idea, I was going for a i5 6400 myself but for a bit of "future proofness" and keepiing in mind that "some" games are depend so went with the 6600k , btw u still have some money to spare to up your cpu to the i5 6500 you'll get a slight increase in performance along with more turbo clock speed for just a couple of bucks ! remember there will be no more overcloking of the non K series cpus ! +1 ofc

yes the cloud is the best headset in it's price range and all in gaming purpose , it's just a 25$ bundle why not ? i just spent the few bucks left on the bundle I dnt really see why not and you're right abt the thermal paste was unnecessary i'll just get arctic silver 3.5g , and thx for upvote will check your build after editing this one !
