Naah, but I also had super old CPU paired with a GPU from a different era, I think it was Phenom X4 (first phenom, not phenom II) with GTX 550ti. Aaaand it also had some cheapo silvery case. And dust.

I wouldn't really call i3 the low-end, 4 cores are still good for gaming. Also, the R9 270 is around 2 times better than 2400G.

That is what I hope for too, I'm debating between Be Quiet and Noctua coolers, but Noctua would come out around 2 times more expensive.

APU is meant to be used with it's own graphics, not discrete. Definitely 8400/8600k.

It's the best for rear fan to exhaust the air, as when it has nowhere to go, it will just warm up in the case, resulting in higher temps.
