Then should I just wait for the budget boards since I won’t be over clocking?
Up your graphics card to a gtx 1060 6gb
I wouldn’t risk it
You will choose where to store them
I3 8100 is better for gaming. If you can try to get an i5 8400 as it has significantly better performance.
What about a nzxt kraken x52
Yes; but I’d recommend the 6gb model.
This should work
Currently the prices are better
You don’t need a 1080 for 1080p, a 1070 is perfect.
You should upgrade your monitor later on maybe a 1440p 144hz
Currently ryzen 5 1600 is $190 on Amazon, I think you should buy that now.
The one above is a 1070 ti though
Here is what I would get. https://www.amazon.com/ZOTAC-Graphics-IceStorm-Backplate-ZT-P10710G-10P/dp/B076S4RT1J/ref=sr_1_12?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1511137819&sr=1-12&keywords=Gtx+1070
Just get a r5 1400 then because the 1500x wouldn’t be worth it.
Lower than the 1600 is the 1500x, but I would just get the 1600 which is $199 in US. I don’t know the equivalent in Australia.
Generally Intel is better for gaming, so I would get coffee lake (8th gen)
A 1050 ti is good for around $150, but the can get a 1060 3gb for around $200. The performance is worth it.
Save up and get a new 1070, it’ll be worth it.
Preowned on Amazon?
Asus 1080 has better cooling, but the performance will be basically the same.
It is water cooled so it’d generally have better cooling.
Depends on your monitor, does your monitor have free sync or gsync? If not then the GTX 1050 ti is better.
Oh, never mind.
You are welcome. Do you have a current system?
If you want to spend $500+ on a 1080 go ahead, but I don’t think it’s worth it for 1080p gaming. The highest I would get for 1080p is a 1070 ti.
Keep in mind this includes everything you’ll need.
I was trying to get it under $1000 or close to it and that is what I did. The submitter didn’t say they wanted 144fps, on the a 144hz monitor so they wouldn’t be limited by it.
A 1080 for 1080p gaming? I’d recommend getting a 1070 which should get you 100fps ultra in all games
Get an i5 7600k with a decent AIO, also consider upgrading your gpu to an RX 580 or a GTX 1060 6gb
I’d consider getting an i3 8100 instead.
What is your graphics card? I believe the 7600k will be perfect.
Depends on your budget, if you have a tight I’d get the 3770k considering you already have ram and a motherboard.
Here is a part list including a Ryzen 7 and a GTX 1070.
Here is a build including Windows 10 , keyboard & mouse, and a 75hz monitor for only $100 over your budget.
