its really the load temps that are pertinent lol
wow, that is extremely lucky! keeping temps below 60 too just doesnt seem possible lol
Wow i have a hard time believing that OC is anywhere close to stable...
If it is i think youve got the best chip AMD ever put out
Doubt it, but who knows
the cables make everyone cry...and you overpayed for a number of things
was at memory express for like 3 months on sale 50% off. Definitely are good...very impressed
admittedly i got a good chip and have since upgraded to an h100i (@4.8ghz). Its certainly possible, but every chip is different so its hard to say. Im by no means an expert on thermal paste but as long as some is still there i would think its roughly the same
fair enough...i still wouldnt run the clock so high that it throttles on P95, but to each there own.
what volts and LLC are you running to it?
you do know the thermal limit of the CPU is 63C...cant say i would want to cut it so close so that it is throttling on the overclock
i actually did find the culprit...i needed to turn up the LLC on my board from medium to high (wasnt making sense cause it was freezing when not under load, but did fix it)
ah .com vs .ca....so much worse deals here :(
where did you find that deal on the monitor?
Not sure why you think the CM212 is backwards...thats how i have mine
i fixed the kernel error by increasing the LLC by one grade. Apparently the OC made it crash
i was referring to the load temps
his temps aren't showing its any good though
i dont remember what i got it for but it was still cheap
i assume your talking the one in the pics, not the build sheet.
Its great actually! very nice, especially for $10
true, hadnt noticed...needs a bigger PSU for sure. Running close to the limits already
cant believe you've got no overclock on the CPU with an h100i on it...those 7970s must be throwing a ton of heat!
damn that is a steal!
almost identical to my build...you wont be disappointed.
get overclocking asap
no internal pics! (n)
time will tell..go google the card and you will see what i mean. I could care less about brands
quite the opposite
get your spelling straight
sapphire is one of the best
nope cause it blocks the VRM..toasts the thing
terrible cooler on the 7950 and 7970...things go up in smoke
I would suggest remounting the cooler and making sure everything is tight...and verify the pump/fans are working at full capacity
im at 1.4V and 4.6GHz stable with just a hyper 212 so something must be up.
Temps never go above 55C
temps at 4.8ghz?
flip PSU upside for Mobo cables...and take care of the rest while your at it
best of luck, hopefully it continues that way though i wouldnt count on it
good build except for what i have read on the XFX 7970....major liability and overall crappy card. I was going to get one until i started reading about it
the 6300 is a great cpu...no way its bottlenecking the 760
thats even worse
ah, well damn, thats too bad
its sucking in hot air from the GPU
i would rotate the heatsink 90 degrees and overclock that CPU asap
its revision 4 (really 5)
only difference is VRM cooling changed again
I would move the rad to the front of the case
hard to complain about the part selection when building on a budget...well done
you got crazy good deals on just about everything (CPU,cooler,GPU,PSU)
why are the states so much cheaper :/
apparently those sickleflows dont do well in horizontal positions
Well maybe you got super lucky somehow as the cooler design is really the issue. Beet of luck!
Read some reviews on that xfx, I was going to get one till I did. Major major heat issues, nothing but trouble really
OC that cpu asap!
huge waste the cooler
That xfx is going to go up in flames...return if you can
