You should get a bigger mousepad

Forum Topic "$300 GTX 1070 with freesync monitor?"

J_Vilander 1 point 15 days ago

You could find a Vega 56 well under $350 to take advantage of freesync as well as maybe a little more frames (depending on game)

Forum Topic "Looking for 2nd Monitor for my setup."

J_Vilander 1 point 16 days ago

So you want a 144hz 1440p monitor at $250? It wont happen, but this fits your criteria pretty well... https://pcpartpicker.com/product/7TrcCJ/asus-pb277q-270-75hz-monitor-pb277q

Forum Topic "More Memory? More SSD? More video card? More New Desktop?"

J_Vilander 2 points 16 days ago

For those app scenarios you should have an SSD and perhaps upgrade the RAM to 16GB

Forum Topic "Should I upgrade RAM to 16 gigs"

J_Vilander 1 point 16 days ago

I have a 1060 3GB, so I can confirm this seems to be a thing

Forum Topic "Sub $500 AMD R9 390 upgrade."

J_Vilander 1 point 23 days ago

What Sync does your monitor have? Get a 1070Ti on sale / RTX 2070 if it's G-Sync, or the Vega 64 if it's a Freesync one.

Forum Topic "PC BUILD Under 4000euro"

J_Vilander 1 point 23 days ago

You have to remember that everything is a lot pricier in Europe than in the USA, 4000€ would be something like $2800-3500 depending on the country, he seems to be from Germany

Forum Topic "I Have a 6800k, considering upgrading to an RTX 2080ti, will I see a cpu bottleneck?"

J_Vilander 1 point 1 month ago

If you are upgrading from a 1080, then i would assume you want to play games at 4k which will not be a problem at all with the CPU

Forum Topic "120hz 1080p Monitor"

J_Vilander 1 point 1 month ago

that monitor isnt terrible being a curved one, but the 1ms response time is controversial, because its a VA panel, so something like the Viewsonic 2402 might be better at $249
