Forum Topic "Selling my gaming desktop!!!"

J_Vilander 1 point 3 months ago

The real price with all the parts' values added together today is about $1400. But without all the gimmicks you could build a similar one for ~$1100

That might spook them off though, you never know...

Forum Topic "Opinions on Selling Price Wanted"

Price it in the range of 1150-1250 at the most, that's what I would buy it for if I needed to

Forum Topic "Will this cpu bottleneck a GTX 1070 ti?"

J_Vilander 1 point 3 months ago

Most GTX 1050 Ti's are within those dimensions, just be sure to check

Forum Topic "Will this cpu bottleneck a GTX 1070 ti?"

J_Vilander 1 point 3 months ago

Go with the cheapest dual fan solution

Forum Topic "Will this cpu bottleneck a GTX 1070 ti?"

J_Vilander 1 point 3 months ago

Yeah wouldn't recommend anything higher than 1060 3GB. I have experience with my older laptop that has i5 4200H and GTX 860M (750Ti level) and it still bottlenecked in some games - that is also a 2c/4t chip

Forum Topic "Will this cpu bottleneck a GTX 1070 ti?"

J_Vilander 1 point 3 months ago

You have a dilemma to deal with, your CPU only goes up to 2.7GHz which is pretty low for gaming, You could perhaps get away with a GTX 1050 Ti without bottlenecks

Forum Topic "Nvidia Container"

J_Vilander submitter 1 point 5 months ago

Yeah every time I try to close it, it appears again in a second and usually there are many of them. I suppose I could uninstall GF Experience because I don't update drivers anyways due to instability and stutter (gimped).
