This is such a cool build but the one thing I can suggest is sanding the green GeForce logo off to stay in the color scheme

Probably a rx 460 4gb from gigabyte/other manufacturer just to stick with AMD. For the psu I would go with the EVGA 500B

It's a great card, and it offers shadow play if you're into that, but the AMD CPU would pair well with the 460. I own the gigabyte card and it run exceptionally well

Correct but the extra VRAM may not be a necessity depending on the games he plays

He said his cousin plays LOL, CSGO, GMod and rainbow 6 siege so he might not need it

Awesome build but the 32 gigabytes of ram may be unnecessary depending on what you are doing with the system. Also, if you plan on storing massive files such as aaa games, you might want some kind of mass storage mechanical hdd

To answer your questions in order:

  1. The 1050 would be a better performance per dollar in most games https://www.google.com/amp/www.pcworld.com/article/3134528/components-graphics/nvidia-geforce-gtx-1050-and-gtx-1050-ti-review-the-new-budget-gaming-champions.amp.html?client=safari
  2. If you don't mind the slight difference in performance per dollar, I would go with the 1050ti. That being said, the 1050 is a better "deal" per say
  3. As I said, the extra 30-40 dollars yields better frames but less price to performance. Another concern is vram is that matters to you

In summary, if you want performance: 1050ti. But if you want $ to performance then get the 1050
