ok cool,ill look into it
very neat, nice job!
corsairs were pretty cheap and came in purple :D
Thanks! And yea i might or might not depends on really if I have the money, alsways good to have a cool cpu even if not overclocked.
was thinking about it but not at the top of my priorities as i havnt or cant oc
yea its a good idea :) thanks also!
shhhhh im upgrading that next ;) mates keep telling mew that too haha
They are soooo good, because there are 4 leds and the fan is transparent it makes a very nice blur or purple.
I think I got the control, and i love it, i have the large size one.
thanks man means alot :)
yea i love it :) thanks
same with aus pricing its pretty steep :/
youre welcome:) hope you enjoy the gaming that comes from that beast!
First build, wouldnt have guessed if you didnt say!
and nice build looks amazing! :)
hey what temps do you get on the 780 under load?
just go search it on pc case gear its the 8 pin extension cable, i cant remember but is yours x2 4 pin on 8 pin?
my 780 and chaser a31 are coming tomorrow or the day aftewr :D ill post another build once i finish putting everythinbg together :D
780, case and fans coming soon!!!!!!
Yea i reccomended that when it happened
I have the same monitor aswell so i recommended it to him, monitor is cheap and has really good color and a qick response time :)
thanks :) from the guy in the middle from the 9th photo ;)
Pretty balanced build I like it :)
still it wont come anywhere near a oc 780
a 760 with this board? Couldve done a 780 or 780ti build with this money
2x4g will do better than 1x8g i beleive, build however looks sick
and when i say doesnt support it i mean the mobo only takes up to 1600 speed
your motherboard doesnt support it, and if you want it for rendering i suggest 16g of ram
i like this build but is the 1866 speed ram necessary, the mobo doeant support it either.
all good and so am i man i know :) the 7950 is on special at pc part picker :) http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=67&products_id=22337
what country are you in? i7 3770k is a great cpu choice, but there would be no problem with running an amd gpu with an intel cpu :) and wise choice on the ram, my mate has it and its great, also the 660 might be a bit underpowered for bf4 so i would reccomend the 660TI/760/270x, you can do your own research on pricing the the performance of each gpu and see if you like it, also i would look out for the Christmas sales or black friday sales or as you said you can wait till early next year if you want. As always with buying products i would always keep a look out for a cheap 7970/7950. The 280x is a re branded 7970 ghz edition and because of this you may find cheap prices for the 7970 ghz. edition
Like bf4? get a 280x, the ram needs a heatsink i would recommend one with a heatsink, and to save money get only 8gigs it wont hurt. Also consider an ssd so you can load windows 8 onto it and have a fast running os, 64 or 120gig ssd is all you really need.
oh and your ram try and get one with a heat sink, the ram you have there is ok but not good for gaming.
yea man 660 and i7 and windows 8 it will run smooth. is this already built or are you thinking of building? because if you havnt i think you should get the r9 280x
i recon you shoulve got a cheaper case and cheaper cooler, then got an ssd or a 290/290x. good build tho
this is really cool haha
nice :D same psu and mouse as me haha
great build and
+1 for build and catties!
you have had a very good first build my friend +1
this case is great! im upgrading too one :) +1 nice build
great build +1 what upgrades do you plan on doing (if so not like you need any) and how does the 780 perform? im thinking on getting one
waaaaat how do you do that?!
+9000 upvotes arghhhhh such a nice build
i like it, good choices, leave the psu dont see point in downgrading. with that psu you will have alot to work with. +1
i3 in a build like this, not exactly a good choice, the i3 doesnt exactly fit with the 66oti and 16g of ram, i reccomend upgrading the cpu first
and congrats for your sister :)
