I'm not sure what the name drop policy is here, but I love CableMod. They now have dual linked 8-pin sleeved cables with a plastic or aluminum comb. Would look awesome with that GPU. You can use a custom color config and pick combs (they call it the "pro" option). I had three made for my cpu, gpu, and mobo power cables. If you like clean lines in your case, I highly recommend it.

Love your build! You might consider getting a white/black HDD custom cover too! Some companies have them with designs, etc. Just a thought. Great job!

Adhesive velcro. One side on hard drive rack, the other on the fan. Worked in a pinch.

Edit: And the front ones I just mounted through the grill with screws xD

Cool build. Would you be able to do push/pull on the Kraken? Looks pretty tight at the bottom there by the shroud.

Direct "downward" airflow on all the main components? Seems like that would be effective.

So, I was going to build a black-out build with this cooler, an XFX card, and this case as well. I'm really glad you did it since I ended up changing directions. I really wanted to see what it would have looked like. This build is a beaut and black never goes out of style. Hats off to you!

Amazon before the price hike, no joke. These minis were on sale and way cheaper than the other 1070s. 580s were running upwards to 280 so I thought 50 bucks more...why not.

I considered selling it when the price rose, but I really like it.

Would a dust cover be appropriate for when it's shutdown (ex: taking a road trip)? I imagine it would have to be a non-static material? Just curious.
