Sorry about the crazy late reply, I’ve been incredibly busy lately!

I personally only got to test one game - Fortnite, and maxed out, it was averaging about 85FPS, with dips to 64ish when jpi g out of the battlebus.

I can probably get hold of the person who owns the system to ask them what they get in other games too.

Again, sorry about the late reply!

Honestly, I didn't have a chance to check out overclocking, I was very rushed and that was the cheapest board I could find at the time.

There was a full overclocking page in the BIOS but I didn't get round to testing anything out as I was packing to move house so just sorted their system and left it at that...I may buy another one at some point just to see though

Oh yes I realise all of that, but thanks anyway - here's why I ended up with what I built...

I had already ordered all of the parts and done a full system spec list for said client, and when I saw processor prices (was ordering it from a different website due to prices being cheaper in different places) I contacted them and let them know, and they just said to make up the money with an AMD setup. If I had the time etc I would have totally re-designed the system but unfortunately didn't have a chance to so had to just rush out this system.

They also needed a 1050Ti and not a 1050 because of some of the games they wanted to play (I have owned both and the 1050 couldn't quite run some things at the FPS they were after.

Sorry my reply has taken so long, I have been moving house!

Great build...how loud is your system under load, I'm looking into doing some more low budget builds

Awesome build! I love the mostly black aesthetic, but I'm quite minimalist when it comes to computers.

What sort of performance have you managed to get out of the 1070Ti? I'm only curious because Im trying to work out f I should go for a 1070 or 1070Ti when I come to upgrading :D

Also are those Enermax fans food for the money? I need to get some extra case fans but don't want to spend a fortune!

I second this, but not only will it provide better performance, the card will be able to 'breath' a bit more, dropping your temps I'd imagine!

Nice build! I kinda wish I'd waited a year for my build because of how cheap the 8th Gen is, so I'm kinda jealous...stuck with my Pentium G4560 :'D

Looks really clean, and I love the motherboard LED!

Two question though, what are your temps like, and what are your windows loading times like?

Definitely with Zambacan, I still have the stock intel cooler and it drives me nuts with the awful noise it makes. Even if it's only spinning at 990ish RPM it's still loud enough to be annoying - my case fans running on max aren't even as loud as the singular cooler, although I do have my PC right next to my head at the moment.

Don’t go buy gaming minim requirements...my computer shouldn’t run battlefield 1 but I get 45fps on high/ultra...

Thanks! A pentium build is suprisingly solid even in AAA titles :D

Go for the 1050Ti, you won't regret it.

My temps are: CPU Idle: 34 (stock cooler) CPU Full Load: 45-50 (Higher temp is the current full load due to it being 27-32 degrees room temp lately)

GPU Idle: 32 (Zotac Mini 1050Ti) GPU Full Load: 48-56 (again higher temp due to room temp)

I hope this helps and I hope your build goes well if you get round to doing it!

FACE. Has it fallen in one side? ARMS. Can they raise them? SPEECH. Is it slurred? TIME. If you notice any of these signs it's time to call 999

It is, and it's being replaced soon by this system (once I have more storage and a better processor) as it's currently used for my day job (Music Production).

Thanks!

I have just ordered a GTX 1050Ti (arriving Monday)

I will eventually build a better computer (just upgrade what I have and the 1050Ti will go into an HTPC (bought the Zotac mini edition)

I will update my build after I have tested a few games!

Thanks so much for the advice man, I was thinking about getting into Ryzen after I've sold some more PC's so that I can build my PC and sell my current one...I want to get into Deus and Hitman so thats actually ridiculously helpful, so thank you!!

At the moment though, I'll just be saving up for an RX 480 or GTX 1070 and eventually upgrade the CPU respectively.

Sorry about the late reply, I've been quite busy the past few days!

It is true, and without an issue too believe it or not. One thing I have found is that if you have, say, screen recording on at the same time though, it will stutter sometimes on things like when you use speed breaker and when you do jumps.

However, to answer your question, Most Wanted is silky smooth even when it's maxed out which really surprises me to be honest, and I would recommend the G4560 to anyone that's looking at doing a budget build that wants to end up with a mid-end gaming computer just sticking with your original processor.

I hope this helps!

Well, build isn't for me, I had guidelines to keep to, hence the random cooler...I personally would have gone for either phanteks passive cooler or just a plain ol' evo 212. Client likes the look of it, I do as I'm told.
