First of all - thank you MSI and PCPP for this amazing contest!!!

This is my dream PC for MSI's contest. I've never had a gaming PC before and this contest was perfect for me. I have also never built my own PC before, so this was a great way to learn as I had to research every part I had picked out and I'm very happy with what I've chosen. I'll try to explain my choices as best as possible while keeping them short!

My main goal - I wanted to build a capable and futureproof gaming PC that will last many years. So here it goes...

CPU - Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor

An obvious choice for a gaming computer. A very fast processor that is definitely capable of handling new games. A top notch CPU. The processor I have right now is an ancient Quad 2 Core Q9400 2.66GHz, so I've never really experienced 60 fps in newer games... So i7-6700K was the right choice for me!

CPU Cooler - Corsair H110i GTX 104.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

A nice and quiet liquid CPU cooler. This cooler will definitely keep the 6700K's temperatures low, even while gaming or in case I ever want to overclock.

Motherboard - MSI Z170A GAMING M7 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

What a beautiful design this motherboard has. Perfect mobo made exactly for gaming! It has a nice black and red colour scheme to it. This mobo can have up to 64GB of RAM which is just a huge number for me and also a bit of an overkill. Right now, I have a mobo that can have up to 8GB of RAM...

Memory - G.Skill TridentZ Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory

The design! The RAM sticks I have right now are very generic looking compared to G.Skill's! 16GB will definitely be enough for years to come. It is also a very fast RAM, since the speeds are at 3200.

Storage - Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5" Solid State Drive & Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

I've never had an SSD before. I've heard a lot of good things about Samsung's SSDs and I may have the chance to see how fast an SSD is if I have the luck to win this contest! Also - Western Digital has great hard drives. The hard drives I have right now are old and don't have much storage. 1TB of storage will be more than enough for me.

Video Card - MSI Radeon R9 390X 8GB Video Card

What a beastly GPU! I've had great experience with AMD cards. The 8GB of memory on this one though - so tempting! The GPU I have right now has only 2GB of VRAM which is not enough if you want to run the newest games all on the highest settings. This card will last me many years because of the 8GB of VRAM!

Case - NZXT S340 (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case

A very nice and clean looking case. Plenty of room for cable management and I also like that it has a cool window. It's also quite cheap.

Power Supply - EVGA 750W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

Estimated wattage is about 505W. 750W will be more than enough.

Case Fan - Corsair Air Series SP120 Quiet Edition (2-Pack) 37.9 CFM 120mm Fans

Cheap, quiet fans. Quiet Edition.

Monitor - Asus VG248QE 144Hz 24.0" Monitor

I have an old 1680x1080 monitor. It's not even 1080p HD. So I felt the need to add a 1080p monitor as I really need it for HD gaming.
