Nice build. Are you using the 7900x or the 7940x?
What are your temps like with a CPU load like P95 small FFT?
The cable management of the desk and monitors is very nice. Good job.
dat embody tho
+1 for cute pup and devils canyon.
Yeah, for the most part depending on the backpack - it should fit.
Seems like a slightly larger and cheaper Dan A4. Should be fine. Just stay away from the L9i cooler. Doesn't get the job done.
CPU thermals are pretty terrible even with a delid and liquid metal. I wouldn't build in this case again.
It's official, I'm done trying.
I'm super jelly of your Embody chair. My wife will not let me buy one =(
Also, nice M1.
Yeah, I figured it was something like that. I've been trying to find an off-the-shelf stainless or brushed aluminum case with mx browns and a white LED. Closest thing I own to it is a DSX Mechanical with MX Blues.
Your board stands out in all the best ways. Great job.
That looks very nice. What keyboard are you using?
I was polite.
FTW cards only fit with 90-degree low profile pcie connectors like these https://www.ebay.com/itm/90-degree-Female-6-Pin-PCI-E-to-Male-6-Pin-PCI-E-Low-Profile-Adapter-Cable/332587183597?hash=item4d6fbdaded:g:t5YAAOSw175b3RnC:sc:USPSFirstClass!75205!US!-1:rk:1:pf:0
Nice M1. Which power button are you using?
Her temps were also high without the a12x15 fans so I added them to fix that issue and they worked great. I recommend adding them. Space between the fans and gpu is pretty large. I did remove the gpu holder to fit the fans. The fans do not hold the gpu properly so you will need to rig something up for a spacer. I used the gpu holder to prop up the gpu, which I placed on the noctua fans in the middle of them where they touch. That's only necessary when the case is flat. If you use the case vertically then the mount isn't necessary. The holder will move in transport if you do not keep the case flat. There is probably a more elegant solution but she didn't care so I didn't spend a lot of time on it.
I haven't seen a gpu mounted like that before. Looks cool.
I made the desk myself. Cost around $500 CAD.
I am disgusted by the cleanliness.
Hey. Thank you!
You can find the switches on ebay here.
I use the wiring harness from Frozen CPU that can be found here.
Pictures look great. Always +1 for a fellow M1. Congrats.
Boo team Red! lol. It looks great!
Always +1 for an Ncase.
Classy looking M1.
It's gotten to the point where I'll start talking about computers and she'll ask "is this computer related?" She then quickly proceeds to pretend to listen while I go on and on about x, y and z.
Hey asone_! Looks like you made another beautiful build. Excellent work as always and +1 from me. I've always been a fan of your M1's. If you have a moment will you check out mine? It would mean a lot. Peace!
The nf-a9 92x25mm fan fits fine. Plenty of space to clear with the U9S. Good thought, though.
I didn't even know they had criteria lol.
I don't think that's why it didn't get featured. Either way, I liked it the first time you posted it and I like this too.
It's a 98" butcher block counter top from home depot. I stained it chocolate, then stained it sun beaten to get the faded look.
Oh absolutely. If I got any new Lexus it would be the F sport variant.
The c14s is a better performer hands down, but at a cost. You have to side mount the PSU and if you're using the window you have to have the fan mounted under pushing towards the glass. That leads to ram compatibility issues too.
I delidded her 8400 for the luls.
Yeah, Reddit was pretty merciless about that too. I fixed it since then.
That's some really good mpg there.
First one I had was an is300 that I traded in for an is250. Still regretting that decision. I either want to get back into a manual is300 or just say screw it and get the new RC F Sport.
Thanks. The rear fan is intake and the fan behind the C14s is blowing towards the window.
I love BWM, Audi, and Lexus. I've just heard so many horror stories about the reliability of BMW and Audi that I went with the brand that always rates the highest for reliability. Maybe they've gotten better over the years. I would love to own an M series one day.
OMG me too!
She won't care XDDDD
lol thanks. You don't like Lexus?
The bottom intake fans stickers not being the same direction got me all kinds of tilted.
Nice build. I dig it.
I also like the dog photo bomb in the second picture.
