1) Are you overclocked?
2) Whats your cinebench r15 score?
np i intend to run a full loop maybe 240 rad in the front and a 140 rad in the rear i believe the R%'s will be the sweet spot for at least the next year and will be better with age and optimization.
its the dimms you need to do you homework on ram before you purchase
i currently have mines OC'd to 3.8ghz on all cores, i can run 4.0ghz but the 20 degree off set tricks the computer in to thinking its 80 plus degrees. my suggestion go light on OC until that is fixed
I was thinking crossfire but I'm waiting for Vega, I'm far from done I will have a water cooled loop in it I had a few issues initially where I couldn't get it to post haven't uploaded new pics
no cant get it to post on 2400mhz 2133 is plenty though
it may be a difference in silicone lottery i have it set to 4.6mhz with the aio watercooler
My sister in law works at a printing company it's A vinyl
The point was to make an AMD itx which competed and it did
On cinebench test the 7870k overclocks better and it's a cheap route if you can't get the gpu you want at the time
Yes I did when I got my itx gpu
I check the measurements on numerous AIO's and that was the skinniest 120mm I could find
its a vinyl wrap my sister in law works at a printing shop.
Some of us like AMD
The point of the build was to be different there's a lot of Intel fan boys I went AMD to be different with my current rig I can run what ever I want at 1080p 60+Fps and a few games on 1440p without any issues.
No mini itx board for fx series chip
1) Check my completed Build its in there with pics.
2)7870k performance is better than 860k when OC'd.
3) My first build consisted of an Asrock motherboards, Ar06 58mm lpcooler, noctuA 92mm fan, 500w Sfx psu OC'd at 4.3ghz and Msi R9 380 due to heat issues burned all those parts and built better.
Well for the most part I have an lg 4K tv I've ran games like Warframe at 60fps on 1440p but it causes a lot of heat so 1080p on med/high settings
Can't believe everything you read sometimes you just need to find out for yourself that's what I did.
The 7870k OC'd actually runs better than than the 860k I have no issues running games like black desert online at 60fps with out bottle necking, this actually the 3 version of this build
Thanks one of the things that I found out while building is that the 7870k just slightly beats the 860k when over clocked, I was extremely proud when I found out my gpu was my weak point for VR gaming
I wanted to branch away from an Intel build I went AMD strictly for under dog purposes, I plan to up grade to a R9 Nano once the artic islands versions are released
It was my first build but performance wise I made excellent decisions I need a 600w psu for over clocking. The ram was chosen for performance and clearance. A dremel makes anything possible
