I really want a KFA2 Galax White GTX1080ti EX OC but new they are £850 and rarely surface second hand
no worse than any other case I've had
it's very good, there's a lot of airflow due to gaps between the tempered glass and the case, in fact I think it's the best case I've had for airflow apart from the Thermaltake P3
no..it's my personal rig
was a 3d printed plate, I got off the net
IKEA Linmonn Desktop 200 and IKEA Alex drawer units
well, in these things colour is always a matter of personal taste and you can't please everyone...but thank you :-)
had it for a while and enjoyed using it but just switched to a Corsair K65 Lux
with the GSkill RAM did you use their software or ASUS AURA? I can't get mine to show up in AURA
it goes at the top left, behind where the radiator is located
absolutely amazing...the clear coolant really works so well here. It's got me seriously thinking about my first custom loop!
found it quite difficult to get them neat as they are so thin..superflower ones are only 2mm. as for the AIO,. eventually I will replace it with a custom loop.
it's only 60hz but the response time is good....i've not seen any problems with shooters but then i'm not a "professional gamer" turning off vsync in most titles gives some good fps and the picture quality is top notch..playing fallout 4 on it is great
will probably just get a 1080 to be quite honest
i like it a lot :-)
think it was just magnetic, I don't have it anymore as i swapped the GPU for a Gaming X due to problems with the Armor edition..in fact the build doesn't look like this any more..new completed build "White Dot" is up now.
V1 Tech in the USA
I thought about it, but routing the hoses was awkward and with fans the height of fans + radiator takes it very close to the GPU..especially now I have an alphacool eisberg 360 cooler in there now.
the 1070 Armor doesnt have a backplate...the 1070 Gaming X that I replaced it with does.
its good, i like it..though sometimes the software is a bit cranky
the white one has a white pulsing light on the pump
I bought an aftermarket white backplate for the Armor 1070 from V1 tech, of course now I have the Gaming X it's surplus to requirements as that does have a backplate.
changed the motherboard over and now the fans all run off the MB
I installed the fans after the motherboard and then routed all the cables..the bottom 3 had to be run off a molex connector as the mobo didn't like it.
I meant, what is it like?
it was just the one that had the OS on it so i kept it..I may cover both SSD's with white carbon fibre
Cooling is good for the GPu..but it probably helps that it's sitting right above a couple of Spectre Xtreme 120mm fans at full blast! The AIO is good but I'm tempted to put a 360mm in it
they are quite loud..only drawback really
looks great!..how do you find the Water 3.0 360mm cooler?..I did consider that one
it's a tight fit but it can be done
I ended up putting it on the top but may get a thermaltake 360..pretty much finished and will post it as a completed build soon
see my comment above lol
no real problems..the whole thing has been moved to an InWin303 case now and I've upgraded to the MSI GTX 1070 Armor Edition..pics will be forthcoming of the upgraded build once I've received the last part...a custom backplate from V1Tech
the new version of it apparently has a white radiator...but a black pump unit...go figure :-(
i really like it..5930k is 25C at idle and only 40C under load
how much difference in temps was there? I've got this case on order and I'll be running a 5930K out of it with a deepcool gamerstorm captain 240 cooler...and it does look very tight at the bottom mount.
same here..and I've seen several comments about it..seems to be a common problem with that MOBO
that's my test monitor,I just put it up to test that it was working, I didn't change the resolution..it was just to test something with steam
it's OC'd at 4.40
the HDD i wanted to put in was faulty and this one was the only other one I had to hand
