Since you are not using integrated AMD graphics, you can skip the graphics driver updates. Otherwise, yes, do the BIOSes in that order. Strangely though, the 2700X isn't on ASRock's list of supported CPUs. Probably an error on their part, but might want to check with them to make sure.

No, the X570 chipset only supports dual-channel memory, regardless of what processor you choose.

Do you know what blue switches are? More specifically, Outemu Blue? They are the LOUDEST, CLICKIEST, most ANNOYING switches on the market. Otherwise... I guess it's a decent recommendation.

GD only relies on clicking, so I would actually recommend going to your local store and testing out what works best, rather than a specific mouse.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Need mouse and keyboard"

Without a budget or requirements, it's difficult to give exact recommendations. That said, I can give you a rundown on what I have and why I like them. I have a Ducky One 2 RGB keyboard. I really like it. The build quality is exceptional, the lighting is bright and easily customizable without software, and the USB-C cable is removable. The One 2 (With many Cherry MX switch options) can be found for pretty cheap on a variety of online and brick-and-mortar suppliers. As for mice, I have a Zowie EC2-B CS:GO edition. This is a really personal choice. I love the shape and feel of it, but others may not. It also has no lighting of any kind, so steer clear if you want that. There are many lighter, more customizable mice on the market but if you're looking for a solid, dependable FPS mouse I would highly recommend anything Zowie.

The Apex 7, while high quality, is highly overpriced for what you get. There are similar or higher quality products available from other manufacturers

Makes sense. As to why your sound card isn't working... not to insult you, but are you sure your speakers are plugged into the sound card, not the motherboard? Also try installing EVGA's driver from https://cdn.evga.com/nuaudiocard/EVGA%20NU%20Audio_0.2.0.7_WIN10.exe

Just wondering, why did you buy a sound card? Unless you have really good analog headphones, you probably won't hear the difference compared to the (excellent) Realtek ALC1220 built-in to your motherboard. Also, all your fans are exhausting air. This can lead to excessive dust build-up and much higher temperatures. Build looks nice though. +1

Hmmmm. I have a Ducky One 2 RGB. I like it because although it is plastic, it is extremely durable and it comes with doubleshot PBT keycaps. The RGB is bright, and can be completely controlled through the keyboard, without any software. The cable is USB 3.0 Type-C, and it is detachable with lots of routing holes. It also comes with a selection of accent keys in a random color. I would say it is also towards the cheaper end of the spectrum. But in the end, the choice is up to you.

But the 2400G can only run PCIe slots in x8 mode, not x16, limiting your overall GPU bandwidth by half. I would go with like a 1400 or something.
